Tampines Arts Troupe (formerly known as "Lee Shu Fen & Dancers Society") is a non-profit Registered Society since June 1991 and had been registered as a Charity Organization, Institution of Public Character (IPC) since June 2000. We wish to diversify the cultural scope of our Troupe to embrace dance, song and music as these are our precious cultural heritage. Our objectives are to:
- Preserve and
promote Chinese Classical and Ethnic, Ballet and Creative dance.
- Promote Vocal Music training for group class and individuals.
- Provide platform for exhibition of music and dance.
- Organize courses and workshops to enhance performing skills. We have been an active cultural group in Singapore particularly in Tampines, well known for Chinese dance activities. Almost every year, we stage "Spring In Our Midst" concert series in our Resident Theatre, Tampines Cultural Centre. In 2002, 2006 and 2008, we staged major-scale dance performance "Dance Attraction" at the Victoria Theatre. Over the years, we have a collection of remarkable and commendable repertoire.
