Last Sunday’s world cup kick-off event was such a success with 300+ joining us to cheer on the boys as they got off to a winning start to their 2026 world cup campaign.

And following huge demand, we’ll be back at the Lion Brewery, Club Street this Saturday for a world cup watch party for the Scotland v Morocco match.

No frills this time, just great football and great company. Come and join us to cheer on the boys and continue to bring the Tartan Army spirit to Singapore.

Free to attend. Doors open just before kick-off at 6am.

Lion Brewery will be serving a reduced range of beers to allow a speedier service. Snacks will be available although the kitchen will open later that morning.

🍻 A brilliant evening at the Crown & Anchor! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇸🇬

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our SSAS Membership Social last night. It was fantastic to see such a great mix of familiar faces and new connections coming together enjoying a Scottish “pub night” together with some home classics with Scotch pies and Sausage rolls as well as of course Irn Bru and Tunnocks.

It was great hearing all the accents from home and with some true Scottish banter, it was a perfect reminder of what makes our community so special here in Singapore.

Meet the maker! For anyone going to Dempsey Hill this weekend, pop into Huber's Butchery to sample some of the best Scottish smoked salmon 😋🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

For two days only, 25th and 26th April, we’re showcasing Hebridean smoked salmon from Scotland, highlighting both craftsmanship and flavour at its finest.

We’re pleased to welcome Christopher West from Hebridean Smokehouse Ltd, who will open each session with an introduction to the brand and the traditions behind their smoked salmon. Based on the remote Isle of North Uist in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides, the smokehouse has been producing exceptional smoked salmon since 1983. Each salmon is carefully hand-sliced by skilled staff to preserve the natural grain of the fish and hand-cured using pure sea salt, preserving traditional methods that create a mild, mellow flavour with a delicate hint of peat. A true expression of its island heritage!

As for Christopher, he has been the driving force behind Hebridean Smokehouse for more than two decades, playing a central role in shaping the business into one of Scotland’s most respected producers of premium smoked salmon. Learn and interact with Christopher as he shares his expertise, the brand’s heritage, and the craft behind Hebridean Smokehouse smoked salmon.

Following which, Chef Clement will demonstrate how to create an exciting four-course meal using Hebridean smoked salmon. Plus, you get to taste every dish!

Fantastic first “official” meeting of the 2026/27 SSAS committee last night hosted by the wonderful Marie and Geovann of .Sambal - a lovey little private dining experience blending the best of Scotland and Singapore (and with the most amazing cocktails).
