On 19th July 2025, in celebration of SG60, we are proud to unveil the new logo for Food Rescue @ Events (FRE), a symbol of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and community care.
We changed from the initial logo image (with the foods at the background) which was designed by our founding member, Mr. Goh to what we have now which was generated by ChatGPT as we are still a volunteer-led ground up, hence no budget for designer's designed logo.
A time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the spirit of kindness and care that unites us all. It’s a month that reminds us: every act of compassion matters, no matter how big or small.
At FRE, this moment is especially meaningful.
Since 2017, our dedicated food rescuers and volunteers have worked tirelessly to prevent food waste and support vulnerable communities.
Their efforts ensure that surplus food from events doesn’t go to waste but instead nourishes those who need it most.
As we look forward to Singapore’s 60th birthday, let’s continue to celebrate and uplift everyone who chooses care as their calling.
