General information
TOUCH SpecialCrafts holds weekly visual art classes for our Intellectually Disabled trainees. We believe that art is an essential avenue of growth and independence in the education and careers of persons with disabilities. Art is also a powerful tool to allow our trainees to express their creativity and inmost emotions. We also provide sheltered employment to a small group of adults with intellectual disabilities who have good motor skills and show a keen interest in the areas of arts and crafts. Through the medium of art, we hope that the community will recognize our trainees’ abilities and perceive them in a different light, enabling them to live with dignity and be appreciated and respected.
