Something about caring for children makes every interaction feel incredibly enriching.🥰

Seniors from the 79th S Coy (Riverside Secondary School) were all smiles as they led Explorers from the 18th Company ( ) through a lively afternoon of dances, quizzes, and crafts.

Expressive, imaginative, and endlessly curious, the children let their imaginations soar as they designed miniature sensory oceanscapes, guided by their patient and very amused "jie jies" (older sisters).

What a blessing it is to be able to bring joy and wonder to young lives! ✨😌

From now till 31 December 2026, Singaporean households can donate their unspent SG60 Vouchers and CDC Vouchers 2026 (January) to a participating Institution of Public Character (IPC) of the CDC Vouchers donation campaign.

😃Visit go.gov.sg/ks-gb to donate your SG60 and
CDC Vouchers 2026 in 3 simple steps:

1. Go to go.gov.sg/ks-gb and log in through Singpass.
2. Choose your source of funds from SG60 Vouchers and/or CDC Vouchers 2026 (January) and pledge any amount you wish.
3. Donors may choose to share their email address to receive a donation confirmation and tax-deductible receipt where applicable.

"To be honest, we thought there wasn't going to be any trash for the Girls to pick."😅

Despite the park's meticulous maintenance, Girls from the 17th P Coy still stumbled across bits of plastic waste embedded in leaf litter, and disposable utensils disposed of under ornamental bushes.😔

Some of the Girls of course, were delighted.

They cried dibs on discarded napkins, spent a good 15 minutes hunting around a single tree, and sprinted towards a plastic bottle like it was the last brownie in the canteen. Their zeal for environmental cleanliness was so great that they would have ventured into the lake if the teachers had not held them back.

Their sharp eyes were further challenged when it came to identifying the feathered and leafed denizens of the park. Nobody is to blame here.
One purple flower can often look very much like another, and certain birds have the nasty habit of looking exactly like a leaf until they start grooving to the sound of the MRT rattling by.

All in all, a productive day.
