Children and youths are not just the leaders of tomorrow - many are already making a difference today.

This was evident on 5 June at the Temasek Shophouse - which was bustling with youthful energy and purpose at the inaugural Festival of Deeds by Kids organised by youth ground-up Little But Loud .ย  Supported byย Temasek Foundation OSCAR Fund, the Festival brought together young changemakers, social service agencies and community partners to share ideas, learn from one another, and collaborate together to amplify impact.

It was an honour to have Mdm Halimah Yacob , Chancellor of the Singapore University of Social Sciences and former President of the Republic of Singapore, at the Festival. Through a fireside chat and conversations with youth-led ground-ups, she encouraged youths to continue serving with purpose, while highlighting the importance of collaboration and sustainability in community initiatives.

Another key highlight was the launch of the Network of Deeds by Kids โ€” a new platform that connects youth-led ground-ups with partners, mentorship and learning opportunities to help them sustain their impact.

Ground-up and youth-led community efforts are key to how care takes root in our communities.ย We are glad to support these initiatives that bring people together, strengthen community networks and contribute to a stronger fabric of care across our communities.

Climate adaptation is one of the defining challenges of our time, and the solutions we need will come from fresh ideas, purposeful action, and powerful partnerships.ย

That is why we are glad to partner .innovation.sg Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) and Hyundai CRADLE Singapore on the Go Green Hackathon. In its fifth edition, the hackathon was held in conjunction with the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environmentโ€™s Go Green SG 2025, with support from the National University of Singapore.

Opening the finale event held on 4 June, our Deputy CEO Ms Woon Saet Nyoon encouraged the participants to see climate adaptation not just as a challenge, but as an opportunity to turn curiosity into action and ideas into impact.

91 students from nine local and international schools came together to tackle real-world climate adaptation challenges, reimagining community spaces and exploring how mobility solutions can help people stay safe in a changing climate. They showcased their solutions to a panel of judges, which included our colleague Teng Zi Ying from the Climate & Liveability team.ย

Congratulations to all participants and winning teams! We look forward to supporting more young changemakers turn bold ideas into meaningful action, for a more resilient future.ย

Life Unlimited @ 170 by Lions Befrienders, supported by Temasek Foundation, pilots a more integrated model of ageing-in-place, in Queenstown.

This Active Ageing Centre brings together nursing, social and caregiving support across hospital, home and community, helping seniors stay active, connected and independent for longer.

The centre features smart sensors that can detect falls and alert caregivers early, alongside programmes in sports, music and the arts to keep seniors engaged and active.

At Temasek Foundation, we support innovative ideas and partnerships that strengthen communities and improve lives across different needs and generations.

SPS Eric Chua launched Life Unlimited @ 170 on 23 May 2026. A timely reminder that ageing well is not just about adding years to life, but life to years.

Mental Health Awareness Month reminds us to check in with ourselves as much as we check in on others ๐Ÿ’œ

We asked our staff at TF how they rest and reset while holding space for themselves and for others.

How about you? What are you doing to stay healthy in mind and spirit? ๐Ÿ‘€ Stay well.
