The National University of Singapore (NUS) History Society is a student-run organization that aims to encourage an interest for history among NUS students and members of the public. Its members include all History majors and other NUS students interested in history. Regular projects that aim to engage NUS students include writing and editorial opportunities at the Society’s publication Mnemozine,

career development programmes as well as welfare activities. Special projects include the Bukit Brown Documentation Project held in 2012. NUS History Society is a student society under the Office of Student Affairs, National University of Singapore.

History Camp 2026 is finally here! Join us for 2 days of fun, friendship, and all things history 🤩

Date:
29th June 2026 (10AM - 6PM)
30th June 2026 (10AM - 9PM)
Format: Full day, in-person camp, no overnight stay
Camp Fees: $20

Expect exciting history-themed games, campus adventures, new friends, and a closer look at what NUS History has to offer, whether you’re considering History as a Major, Second Major, or Minor! 🤓📝

Hi Historians!

HISSOC is organising a Farewell Dinner for NUS History’s treasured professor, Dr Bruce Lockhart on 22nd May 2026 from 6.30pm to 9pm at the Fort Canning Centre Function Hall! 🎉

We need your help to make this event a success 🥰 Here are two ways you may contribute:

💰1. RSVP and/or donate! If you would like to celebrate with us, simply RSVP by 6th May.

As this is a student-run event, we are also accepting donations. Any amount would help greatly and every cent will go solely to this event.

We have created a spreadsheet which will reflect every amount received, as well as our budget milestones.

🎞 2. We are collecting videos, photos, and messages which will be made into a montage and photobook for Prof Lockhart!
