A Deep Dive into Impressionism with SAWL!

The Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL) had an inspiring and enriching evening with a trip to the National Gallery Singapore for the landmark exhibition, ‘Into the Modern’!

We were thrilled to visit the largest French Impressionist exhibition in Southeast Asia, showcasing iconic works by masters like Pierre-August Renoir, Claude Monet, Édouard Manet, Paul Cézanne, and Edgar Degas, many never before seen in Singapore. Under the brilliant guidance of Jean, we embarked on a captivating journey exploring how these groundbreaking artists captured the emergence of modernity through themes of urban life, gender, land, and environment. It was a truly engaging and thought-provoking activity that brought the enduring impact of Impressionism to life!

We capped the evening in style with a bespoke dinner at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore. The service was impeccable, and the culinary experience was even better! 🥂 A perfect night of art, connection, and exquisite dining.

SAWL Lunch Success – Thank You!

We are delighted to share that yesterday’s SAWL Lunch in support of the SAWL Scholarship Fund was a wonderful success. This would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our ExCo members, whose hard work and dedication made the event so meaningful.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who attended, contributed, and showed their support for the SAWL Scholarship Fund. Your presence and generosity help us continue our mission of promoting educational access for students with physical or mental disabilities.

A very special word of thanks goes to all the ExCo members whose commitment and effort were instrumental in bringing this event to life. A special shoutout to for her contributions and efforts.
