1971
Hasanah Mosque was built by Jurong Town Corporation at the present location in replace of several mosques and surau that were acquired from 9 Southern Islands by Singapore Government for the Industrialization and Economics development.

1987
Hasanah Mosque Management Board with the support of the Muslim Community in Teban and Pandan Gardens appeal to MUIS to rebuilt the mosque which look arch

aic compared to the extensive development of Housing Development Board Flats around the vicinity of the mosque. MUIS could not support the application because Mosque Building Fund were meant for the development of new mosques only.

1988
An appeal was then made to Minister-in-charge of Muslim affairs and with the grace of Allah on 16 April permission was granted by the Minister for Community Development on condition that MMB have to raise the fund for the project.

1989
After raising S$1.4 million, the first foundation was laid denoting the commencement of the rebuilding project on 29 September. On 18 October, ceremony of planting the crags was held.

1993
On 30 March, eve of Hari Raya Idil-Fitri, several classroom on the second storey were on fire unexpectedly. According to the police the fire were caused accidentally by 3 boys under the age of 12 years old. The damaged was quite extensive and it cost us S$350,000.00 to repair it. After more than four years of construction, on December, Temporary Occupation Permit was granted by Building Control Division (BCD). The project was 2 years over scheduled by unforeseen circumstances and shortage of funds. MUIS and 13 mosques gave moral and material support by extended a loan of S$760,000.00 We were much obliged to the Muslim community for their unrelentless support until we managed to repay the loan.

1996
MMB were facing multifaceted tasks and with perseverance, dedication , team commitment with the support of the Muslim community and with the grace of Allah, Hasanah Mosque was finally officially opened on 19 May (1 Muharram 1417 H). It cost S$6,000,000.00 and 7 years of fund raising effort.

๐ŸŒ™โœจ MAJLIS MAAL HIJRAH 1448H โœจ๐ŸŒ™

Alhamdulillah, Majlis Maal Hijrah 1448H yang berlangsung pada 16 Jun 2026 telah disambut dengan penuh penghayatan dan semangat ukhuwah di Masjid Hasanah.

Majlis dimulakan dengan Doa Akhir Tahun dan Doa Awal Tahun, diikuti Zikir Munajat serta ceramah khas oleh Ustaz Faizal Wahab bertajuk โ€œNiat Membina Arah, Jihad Merealisasikan Langkahโ€. Program kemudiannya diteruskan dengan zikir, Solat Isyak dan Solat Hajat berjemaah sebagai penutup yang penuh makna.

Perjalanan hijrah bukan sekadar menandakan pertukaran tahun, tetapi merupakan seruan untuk memperbaharui niat, memperbaiki diri dan melangkah lebih dekat kepada Allah SWT. Semoga segala pengisian yang dikongsikan menjadi bekalan serta inspirasi dalam menempuh lembaran baharu kehidupan.

Semoga tahun 1448H membawa keberkatan, ketenangan dan kekuatan untuk kita terus istiqamah dalam ketaatan kepada Allah SWT, serta menjadi titik permulaan bagi perubahan yang lebih baik buat diri, keluarga dan masyarakat.

Alhamdulillah, dengan izin Allah SWT kita melangkah ke tahun baharu Hijrah. Awwal Muharram mengingatkan kita akan perjalanan hijrah Rasulullah ๏ทบ โ€” satu peristiwa yang mengajar kita tentang pengorbanan, keikhlasan, ketabahan dan keyakinan kepada Allah SWT.

Semoga tahun 1448H menjadi titik permulaan untuk kita memperbaharui niat, memperbaiki diri, memperbanyakkan amal soleh, dan mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT.

Marilah kita menyambut tahun baharu ini dengan penuh kesyukuran, harapan dan doa agar Allah SWT mengurniakan keberkatan, kesejahteraan dan kejayaan buat kita semua di dunia dan akhirat.

This week, we reflect on ๐Ÿ“– Sahih Muslim :
The Prophet ๏ทบ said: โ€œThe best fast after the month of Ramadan is fasting in the month of Allah, Muharram.โ€

๐ŸชžReflection: Tonight marks 1 Muharram, the beginning of a new Hijri year. As one year closes and another begins, it is a chance not only to turn the page on the calendar, but also to reflect on our journey with Allah.

Muharram is a blessed month, and among its virtues is the opportunity to increase in voluntary fasting and other righteous deeds. As we welcome the new year, perhaps we should ask ourselves: What are our goals for the year ahead? What habits do we hope to strengthen? What shortcomings do we hope to leave behind?

A new year is a reminder that time continues to move forward. May we make the most of it by drawing closer to Allah, one sincere step at a time.

๐ŸŒฟ May Allah bless our new Hijri year, grant us beneficial goals, and make it a year of growth, gratitude, and closeness to Him.

Alhamdulillah, pada hari Sabtu, 13 Jun 2026, seramai hampir 250 orang Muslimah telah menghadiri ceramah khas bertajuk โ€œHati Jagaan Allahโ€ yang berlangsung di Masjid Hasanah dan disampaikan oleh Ustazah Dr. Sakinah Saptu.

๐Ÿ’– Dalam menempuh pelbagai cabaran kehidupan, hati yang sentiasa terpaut kepada Allah SWT akan memperoleh ketenangan, kekuatan serta hikmah di sebalik setiap ujian yang dihadapi.
