A wonderful time for the full cast and musicians to rehearse together as we prepare for the Singapore premiere of “Of Living & Dying”. Bringing the different artistic elements into one space allows the production to continue taking shape as we move closer to the performance.

Led by Dr Danny Tan and Mr Fajar Satriadi, the production brings together dance and live music with musicians from Singapore and Indonesia. Every rehearsal strengthens the connection between movement, sound and performance while deepening the collaborative spirit behind this multidisciplinary work.

Only two more days to go. We look forward to welcoming audiences to the University Cultural Centre Theatre on 25 August 2026 for this special Singapore premiere.

It is a privilege to welcome so many of our elderly beneficiaries whose smiles, positivity and enthusiasm reflect the spirit of purposeful living and wellbeing. 💃 𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚

Our Line Dance Community Empowerment Programme demonstrates how seniors can be equipped with skills and knowledge, and subsequently transfer their learning to their peers. It was heartening to witness their confidence, enthusiasm and willingness to support one another through movement.

We are grateful to see the strong spirit of camaraderie, sharing and bonding among our participants. Beyond learning the dance, the experience encourages seniors to take an active role within their community, share what they have learnt and grow together through meaningful participation.

We are proud to continue the ODT HEART Series with this second phase of our three part journey. We look forward to deepening the programme further as our seniors continue to learn, share, connect and empower one another.

🔔 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗, 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Dr Danny, together with Indonesian musicians, created a unique Sound Bath experience for our elderly beneficiaries at ODT GEM. Through an immersive combination of sound, stillness and shared presence, participants were introduced to a new wellness experience in a calm and supportive environment.

It was encouraging to see their curiosity and openness as they experienced the session, with many enjoying this new form of relaxation and looking forward to deeper engagement. The programme offered a meaningful opportunity to pause, release everyday stresses and experience moments of serenity together.

We are pleased to sustain this important initiative under the ODT HEART Series and to continue exploring authentic and meaningful wellness experiences for our elderly community. Through continued engagement, we hope to create more opportunities that support wellbeing, connection and quality of life.

📖 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗧 | 𝗢𝗗𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗙𝗬𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On 9 June, we marked our 27th anniversary. As we reflect on another meaningful year, we remain deeply grateful for the trust and support of our stakeholders, funders, donors, sponsors, artists, volunteers, audiences and partners who have journeyed with us. We are pleased to share our Annual Report for FY2025/2026, capturing our artistic achievements, community engagement, international collaborations, education initiatives and service to society through the arts.

Today, 14 August, we are preparing for the Singapore premiere of “Of Living & Dying” on 25 August 2026 at 8.00pm at NUS University Cultural Centre Theatre. As we move from reflecting on the year behind us to creating the next chapter, we continue to explore how the arts can create meaningful impact through artistic excellence, transformative education and social good.

Beyond this upcoming performance, we are also preparing for our three 2026 Pinnacle Events. Our first Pinnacle Event, ODT Charity Golf 2026, will take place on 9 September, followed by ODT Gala Dinner 2026 that evening and ODT Gala Performance 2026 on 5 November. We welcome individuals, organisations and institutions to journey with us through participation, sponsorships, partnerships, collaborations and philanthropy as we continue inspiring lives and celebrating moments.

A sunny day on the greens brought together friendship, camaraderie and a shared passion for golf. We thank our Board member, Mr Looi Chee Bin, for organising this enjoyable warm up session as we prepare for ODT Charity Golf 2026.

It is always a blessing to watch our ODT Silver Ensemble perform with such grace and dedication. Led by Madam Ng Siew Moy, we are grateful for her continued commitment to bringing joy to these wonderful ladies through dance.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Kang Ha Clan Association for the kind hosting and the opportunity for our Silver Ensemble to share their passion with the community. Moments like these remind us of the meaningful connections that the arts can create across generations.

✨ 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦, 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬𝗦

How often do we pause to remember where our journey began? Odyssey Dance Theatre marked an important beginning at Jubilee Hall, Raffles Hotel, where we presented the Singapore premiere of Odyssey of the Sublime from 23 to 26 January 2000.

Returning to this meaningful space brought back fond memories of our early artistic journey. While the former performance venue has since been transformed into an elegant banquet hall, its place in ODT’s history remains deeply significant.

We treasure the moments and milestones connected to this remarkable venue. As we celebrate our beginnings, we look forward to returning soon and creating new experiences, partnerships and adventures.

✨ 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡

When an artist leaves a deep impression through her talent and artistry, her contribution remains in our memories. It was a wonderful moment to reconnect with Ms Amy Wang Hui, a Chinese opera artist, after 11 years.

Her solo Chinese opera performance at our Summer DanceFit Festival in 2015 brought back many fond memories. We remain grateful for the passion and dedication she has contributed to her artistic journey.

We were especially pleased to learn about her personal growth as a mother and her continued commitment to passion, art and life. We look forward to exploring future opportunities to collaborate with her through our platforms.
