How are businesses thinking about AI in cross-border payments?

We’re inviting businesses that make or receive cross-border payments to share their views on AI tools that could make or manage payments on their behalf. The research aims to understand businesses’ current views, concerns and the safeguards they would want.

The survey takes under 10 minutes and requires no prior knowledge of AI. Responses are anonymous - we don’t collect names, business names or contact details. Findings will be reported only as overall results.

As businesses continue to digitalise, cyber threats have become an increasingly common operational risk. Knowing what to do in the first few hours following a cyber incident is critical.

Our new Cyber Incident Helpline (CIH) - launched at the Singapore International Cyber Week 2026 - provides businesses, particularly SMEs, with a trusted and confidential first point of contact when a cyber incident occurs. Through incident triage, containment guidance and practical advice on next steps, the CIH helps businesses navigate their crucial early response and connects them with relevant specialist support as needed. The launch was officiated by Tan Kiat How , Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) Singapore.

The CIH is part of the broader Cyber Resilience Centre, developed through a partnership between SBF, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, SGTech and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The initiative brings together government and industry partners to make cyber support more accessible and build business readiness against evolving cyber threats.

Together, we can strengthen Singapore's cyber resilience and help businesses respond to cyber incidents with greater confidence.

Why attend?

Most SMEs have tried AI. The harder part is getting it to actually run in the business.

A lead comes in at 11pm.
A customer wants to reschedule mid-chat.
A tender is due Friday, and it's eating up your best people's time.

Everyday workflows that still wait for someone to pick them up.

Join us at FIRST BUILD to build a working AI agent prototype around a real business workflow, such as handling incoming customer messages, completing simple requests like bookings and rescheduling, or drafting proposals, SOWs and tenders. You'll also get the prompts behind it and practical guidance for moving it to your own systems.

This workshop is the starting point. Bring a business problem, build a prototype, and get last-mile deployment support to help you take it to deployment in your live business environment.

📅 Thursday, 29 October 2026 (lunch provided)
🕛 12.00pm – 5.30pm
📍 AWS Singapore Office
👥 Each registration is for two: a decision-maker and the team member who runs the workflow

Limited seats. Bring your laptop. No technical skills required.

FIRST BUILD is a Singapore Business Federation (SBF) initiative helping SMEs move from exploring AI to deploying it in real business workflows, with each cohort focused on a specific business function. Eligible SMEs may qualify for funding support under the IMDA's AI x Digital Leaders programme.

Jointly organised by SBF, AWS and CloudMile.
