Alhamdulillah, today DMEABS successfully organized a beautiful Iftar Mahfil. It was a wonderful evening of togetherness, good food, and spiritual reflection. Last Saturday, January 17, Jurong SAFRA turned into a vibrant "Mini-Bangladesh" as the Diploma Marine Engineering Association Bangladesh, Singapore (DMEABS) celebrated its Annual Get-Together & Dinner! 🎊

It was more than just a dinner; it was a powerful showcase of the brotherhood and professional strength of Bangladeshi Marine Engineers in Singapore.

Highlights of the Night: ✨ Distinguished Guests: We were honored to have Ms. Luthfun Nahar (Charge d’Affaires, Bangladesh High Commission, Singapore) as our Chief Guest. Her words of praise for our community's contribution to the global maritime sector truly inspired us. 🏆 Recognition of Excellence: DMEABS proudly honored distinguished alumni, kiritical members, and the respected teachers of BIMT for their lifelong dedication to engineering education. 🎟️ Thrilling Lucky Draw: The room was buzzing with excitement as winners took home smartphones and electronic gadgets! 📱🎁 🎶 Cultural Harmony: From nostalgic Bangladeshi melodies to a grand feast, the evening was a perfect escape from our busy mechanical lives.

মেরিন ও শীপবিল্ডিং ডিপ্লোমা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারদের অবমূল্যায়নের প্রতিবাদে মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচিতে ৩ দফা :
1. মেরিন ও শীপবিল্ডিং ডিপ্লোমা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারদের সমুদ্রগামী জাহাজে যোগদানের জন্য ক‍্যাডেট ইঞ্জিনিয়ার “সিডিসি “ প্রদান করতে হবে ।
2. বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীনস্থ ইঞ্জিন ও মেশিন সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগে উপ-সহকারী প্রকৌশলী পদে মেরিন - শীপবিল্ডিং ডিপ্লোমাধারীদের নিয়োগ বিধান চালু করতে হবে।
3. প্রশিক্ষণের মান উন্নয়ন করতে হবে ।

এই যৌক্তিক দাবি গুলো কে পূরণ করে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের ভবিষ্যৎ নিশ্চিত করার জন্য মাননীয় Chief Adviser GOB ও Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training-BMET কে অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছি, এবং বর্তমান ইন্টিরিম সরকারের প্রবাসী কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা জনাব Dr. Asif Nazrul স‍্যারের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি । সারা বিশ্বের সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে আপনারাও যুগোপযোগী সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে মেরিন সেক্টরে আরো নতুন নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তৈরি করতে উল্লেখযোগ্য ভুমিকা রাখবেন বলে আমরা আশা প্রকাশ করছি।
