🏃Bishan parkrun Event #313 – 30 May 2026
On the closing weekend of May, we welcomed 95 parkrunners who crossed the finish line at Bishan parkrun.
📢As Run Director Thea ushered in the morning with her lively briefing, she extended her warmest welcome to all our first-timers and visitors from other parkruns. On the note of safety, she also highlighted the importance of looking out for one another's wellbeing by keeping the park's AED locations in mind.
👋We also bade a fond farewell to Scott, who is moving away from Singapore. Having started his parkrun journey with us back in 2019, we already look forward to saying "welcome home" the next time he visits the Bishan team.
🏆Milestone Celebrations
We are delighted to remind everyone that every single session you complete—whether running, walking, or volunteering—brings you one step closer to your next official parkrun milestone!
Beyond the milestones and t-shirts, consistency is the perfect way to get properly stuck into the vibrant community spirit here at Bishan.
🤝Community Spirit
If you have been thinking about ways to help bring people together or fancy giving back to our tight-knit community, volunteering is the perfect path forward. It is a brilliant way to get to know our regulars while welcoming newcomers into the fold.
🫶On that note, our heartfelt thanks go to the fabulous volunteers who stepped up to make Event #313 possible:
Thea TURKINGTON • Craig FINNEY • Sonia KOLESOW • Siobhan GUY • Ritz KHOO • David NEFS • Gina STEWART • Sukumar KARUPPIAH • Kelvin LIM • Stephen HAMES • Xinshuang WEI • Raymond QUEK

😮💨Post-run Gathering
Grub Pasta Kitchen (Bishan Park) remains our absolute favourite spot for post-run recovery. With exclusive Saturday breakfast deals for parkrunners and a beautiful, laid-back setting, it is the ideal place for our weekly catch-ups. It is entirely pet-friendly too, meaning your four-legged companions are always welcome to join the socialising!
