Founded in March 2000, MDAS is managed by healthcare professionals, volunteers, those with Muscular Dystrophy(MD) and their families. MDAS caters to Anyone with MD and their families.

In a world facing unpredictable global fuel supply chains, energy resilience isn't just a national strategy - it is a daily practice that starts right in our own homes.

This World Environment Day (5 June 2026), MDAS stands in full support of Singapore’s Whole-of-Nation energy conservation efforts. True community resilience is built when everyone, regardless of ability, plays a part in mindful consumption.

On 2 May,Kathit will be running his first 50km! But he’s not doing it for a medal, but for a cause.

He’s raising funds for MDAS, supporting individuals and families living with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions. While running is a choice for many of us, for those living with muscular dystrophy, everyday movement can be a challenge.

Kathit won’t be running alone, his friends and family will be pacing him along the way, a reminder of the power of community and support.

“Because every step is a gift. And I run because I can.”
