A youth activities hub in BW Monastery where young minds explore, learn, and grow.

“Stargazers” represents our aspiration to achieve a state of perfect bliss, just like the Buddha when He attained enlightenment upon gazing at the starry night sky. It also demonstrates how we look to our spiritual teachers for guidance and walk upon the path they point us to, just like how constellations are an important tool of navigation for humankind. “Stargazers” also reminds us to set our intention right and observe our hearts like the Buddha taught us to, and to care for all sentient beings like the wise and compassionate sages before us.

What happens when you give a group of youths 3 days to step back, reflect, and dive deep into Buddhist teachings?

At BW Monastery Buddhist College, our youths recently attended Pure Wisdom Camp — a 3-day learning camp designed to go beyond the classroom.

From contemplating the teachings to discovering the meaning behind our curriculum, these reflections remind us why this journey is worth showing up for — week after week.

Every year, students of all ages gather at BW Monastery for one of our most beloved annual traditions — the Exam Blessing Puja. 🙏

This year, over 400 participants came together — some from our youngest children’s class students to our adult learners — to supplicate for good conditions ahead of their upcoming examinations.

Together, they made offerings of flowers and lights, circumambulated the Main Shrine Hall, received the blessing of sacred sutras, and had their stationery blessed by our Venerables.

What does it truly mean to be cared for? At the 2nd run of the Profound Care workshop, 92 youths came together to explore this very question.

Through the lens of the Dharma, participants deepened their understanding of the profound care extended to them by the Buddha, our Master, our Guru, and their class cadres. Many left feeling deeply moved and grateful — not just for the teachings, but for the people who walk alongside them on this journey.

Last weekend, our Zest Omni Camp brought together Primary 5 to Secondary 2 students for an exciting overnight camp filled with games, friendship, and meaningful learning.

Centered around the Lamrim chapter on “How to Listen”, campers explored what it means to listen with attention, respect, and an open mind—not just in class, but in everyday life. Of course, learning wasn’t limited to the classroom! From team challenges and interactive activities to the highlight of the camp—Overcooked IN REAL LIFE 🍅🔥👨‍🍳—students worked together, solved problems, and created plenty of memorable moments along the way.

Beyond having fun with friends, our campers also had the opportunity to connect with Buddhist teachings in an engaging and relatable way here at BWM Buddhist College. Thank you to everyone who made the camp such a success. We can’t wait to see all of you again at our next camp this November! 👋

Our 2026 Youth Lamrim Class recently marked an important milestone with the Lamrim Presentation Ceremony, where students formally received the Lamrim Chen Mo (Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment).

This is far more than a textbook—it is a precious gift of wisdom passed down through the lineage of the Buddha’s teachings and painstakingly preserved and propagated by our teachers. Receiving the Lamrim marks the beginning of a deeper journey of study, reflection, and practice.

At BW Monastery Buddhist College, we offer Lamrim Discussion Classes for youths and adults, providing a systematic approach to Buddhist learning and personal growth through guided study, discussion, and contemplation.

Over 15 of our youths participated in the bilingual Pure Wisdom Camp in the past weekend!

The Pure Wisdom Camp is an important course within the curriculum of BW Monastery Buddhist College, emphasising deep reflection and inner transformation. Rejoice to our youths!
