ATC (Association of Trade and Commerce) is a community organisation that was established to congregate and represent Singapore's businesses and entrepreneurs across major industries and trade sectors, on both local and international scale. ATC advocates actively for the interests of enterprises, focusing in the areas of development, capabilities, sustainability and community building. To further p

romote Singapore's enterprise and trade environment, we consult the enterprise community and collaborate with private and public sectors to develop and introduce relevant programmes that enables enterprises to digitise, develop, transform and internationalise. For all the people across the businesses that we represent, ATC is positioned as a trusted advocate, partner and network; working with the community to develop and improve businesses, the society and people's lives.

Meet Lydia Kuan of Hao Food SG, who is also one of the entrepreneurs behind ATC’s Women Entrepreneurs Committee (WEC). 🙌

At Lydia's recent exhibition, she gives us a quick introduction to the familiar White Rabbit brand and the range of products and flavours available through Hao Food SG.

Beyond building and growing their own businesses, members of ATC’s Women Entrepreneurs Committee bring together entrepreneurs from different industries and experiences to support greater connections, opportunities and representation for women in business.

We are always glad to see our committee members and ATC enterprises out in the marketplace, showcasing their businesses, building new connections and exploring opportunities for growth.

[Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2026]

We were pleased to participate in the recent Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia) 2026 as one of its Supporting Partners.

The event was officially opened by Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Bringing together entrepreneurs, business owners, brands and industry stakeholders from Singapore and across the region, FLAsia continues to serve as an important platform for businesses to explore franchising, licensing, partnerships and regional growth opportunities.

We were also glad to see our members exhibiting at FLAsia 2026, showcasing their businesses, connecting with potential partners and customers, and exploring opportunities to grow beyond their existing markets.

At ATC, supporting our enterprises extends beyond the programmes and events that we organise. We continue to work alongside industry and ecosystem partners, and support platforms that create greater market access, meaningful business connections and new growth opportunities for our members and Singapore enterprises.

Yesterday, members of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) committee came together for the monthly committee gathering, where we also had the pleasure of welcoming several new committee members!

Beyond discussing ongoing initiatives and upcoming plans, gatherings like these provide an important platform for members to exchange views, identify challenges faced by enterprises and explore how ATC can better support and advocate for our business community.

Many people may recognise the Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) through one of the long-running business awards - the Singapore SME 500 Award.

But at ATC, our work extends well beyond recognising business excellence.

Enterprises that undergone ATC's assessments are not simply presented with an award or certificate and left there. We continue to support them by connecting them to business and trade networks, facilitating collaborations within Singapore, creating opportunities for overseas market access and engaging them through ATC’s wider enterprise community.

Recognition may open the door, but our role is to continue supporting the business journey beyond it.
