Another wonderful evening filled with the logistical challenges of Railway Porters to the careful planning and construction of Towers of Sifnos, the evening reminded us that every great endeavour begins with people finding ways to work with the opportunities before them. Doge brought its own flavour of strategy and calculated decisions, while Ark Nova invited us to think bigger, balancing ambition with the responsibility of building something sustainable. And with Codename Critical Role, deduction, communication and a little creative thinking brought everyone together in a different way.
Each game offered a different world to explore, a different puzzle to solve, and a different set of decisions to make. Yet beneath their differences lay a common thread: the joy of thinking together, learning from one another, sharing a few surprises, and discovering that the experience is always richer when there are others around the table.
That is the beauty of a community built around shared interests. We may arrive for the games, but we stay for the conversations, the friendships, the laughter, and the quiet satisfaction of spending an evening well with good company.
At Punggol Damai RN, every game night is another opportunity to turn neighbours into familiar faces, and familiar faces into friends.
Because in the end, it has never been just about the games. It is about a community playing together, and staying together!
