Balam RN Senior Handbell Music Session

Our seniors had an enjoyable and meaningful time learning to play the handbells under the patient guidance of our dedicated volunteers.

During the session, the volunteers introduced the seniors to basic handbell techniques and guided them step by step in playing two familiar songs — “We Are Singapore” and “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

More than just learning music, the activity encouraged our seniors to listen, coordinate and work together as a team. Each participant played an important part in creating the melody, making the session both engaging and rewarding.

It was heartwarming to see the seniors enjoying themselves, learning something new and gaining confidence as they successfully played the songs together. A big thank you to our volunteers for their patience, encouragement and dedication in making the session a joyful experience for everyone.
