Our heartfelt thanks to 好人好事 Hao Ren Hao Shi, volunteers and staff for an amazing Saturday (13 June 2026) that brought smiles, laughter and meaningful moments to our 28 Home Care and Day Care patients, and their loved ones.

Patients and families had a fun and lively time participating in games, karaoke, a photo booth and a hearty buffet lunch at our Day Care Centre, located in Integrated Care Hub (ICH) building. To top it off, patients also received thoughtfully curated grocery care packs. Widening the circle of care and connection, these goodies were also extended to 27 ICH patients (under the care of Tan Tock Seng Hospital).

A special thank you to the HRHS volunteer drivers and Dover Park Hospice volunteers who safely ferried patients to and from the event, ensuring that everyone could participate comfortably and make the most of the activities.

Together, we continue to make every moment matter.

What a memorable day it was at the Dover Park Hospice Women’s Charity Golf 2026.

From friendly competition on the fairways to meaningful conversations over dinner, the event brought together golfers, donors, sponsors and friends of Dover Park Hospice in support of a shared cause.

We are deeply grateful to every golfer who took time to join us on the course. Your participation not only made the day a success, but also helped raise vital funds for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Our heartfelt thanks to donors, corporate partners and golfers who supported the Dover Park Hospice Women’s Charity Golf 2026 last week. To date, we have raised more than $425,000 for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families, with an additional $9,100 raised through our TelePutt fundraising game and Raffle Draw, thanks to the generosity of participating golfers.

A special thank you to our Guest-of-Honour, Ms Cherie Lim, for gracing the event with her presence. Ms Lim has long championed the spirit of giving and community care, and we are grateful for her support of our cause.

Our inaugural Women’s Charity Golf was a tribute to women caregivers in our palliative care community and families across Singapore. Their compassion, resilience and dedication are at the heart of caregiving, often providing comfort, strength and reassurance to loved ones during life's most challenging moments.

We would also like to thank our male golfers who joined us on the course and championed this cause. Caregiving is a journey that requires family, friends and the wider community to come together, and we are grateful for their solidarity in recognising and supporting caregivers.

The funds raised through this event enable Dover Park Hospice to continue providing compassionate palliative care, comfort and dignity to those who need it most. Our fundraising campaign remains open until 14 June 2026. Wishing all our Buddhist friends and those celebrating a Happy Vesak Day.

Vesak Day reminds us of the values of compassion, kindness and caring for one another — values that resonate deeply with our work at Dover Park Hospice as we journey alongside patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses.

At the kind invitation of Amitabha Buddhist Centre, Dover Park Hospice has been given the opportunity to host an outreach and fundraising booth over three days. Through this platform, we hope to raise awareness of palliative care, share more about our work in supporting patients and caregivers, and fundraise for those under our care.

We are at the big tentage beside Aljunied MRT Station from Friday, 29 May to Sunday, 31 May 2026. If you are in the vicinity, do drop by and say hello! Our booth is located beside the stage, and our friendly volunteers will be easy to spot in their teal Dover Park Hospice polo tees.

Congratulations, Nurse Manager Pamela Koh!🎉 We are proud to share that our Nurse Manager Pamela has received the Community Care Manpower Development Award from the Agency for Integrated Care for completing the three-year Community Care Nursing Leadership Programme (CCNLP) on 7 May 2026.

Along with the award, she also graduated from the 7th Singapore Nurse Leaders Programme (SNLP) on 24 April 2026. The SNLP is a three-month national programme that aims to nurture nurse leaders to be advocates of change with strong leadership and policy perspectives.

Nurse Manager Pamela shared, "I enrolled in these programmes to strengthen my leadership and management capabilities, while fostering greater collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and support the growth of nursing professionals within the community care sector."

Thank you to Penang Hospice Society for coming to our hospice for a clinical observership and group visit last Tuesday, 21 April! 🤝

During the visit, we exchanged insights on our clinical practices, data management, community engagement and fundraising initiatives — all aimed at ensuring quality palliative care is provided for our patients and their caregivers. It was also heartening to hear about Penang Hospice Society’s commitment to elevate hospice care in Penang, Malaysia.

We are honoured to be part of the 9th Singapore Palliative Care Conference 2026 held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre (18 – 19 Apr). Over the weekend, our colleagues joined healthcare professionals, policymakers and community leaders to discuss and advance compassionate, person-centered palliative care for those with life-limiting conditions.

Dr Jennifer Guan, Head of Home Care at Dover Park Hospice, served as the Chairman of the Organising Committee for the conference. We are equally proud of our dedicated colleagues who contributed their expertise through insightful posters and presentations, sharing their knowledge with local and international palliative care professionals to further advance the field.

We also strive to be a center of excellence in palliative care education and research, in line with the new national target to strengthen palliative care training in Singapore to train up to 10,000 nurses and healthcare workers by 2030 as announced at the conference.
