On 16 March 2026, Pro Bono SG and Rao Family Foundation Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the launch of the Inclusive Justice Law Centre, dedicated to providing legal assistance to individuals with invisible disabilities. We were honoured to have Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Social and Family Development, witness the signing.

This partnership will address the critical gap in access to justice through:
- Providing specialised legal assistance and training volunteers to strengthen the pro bono ecosystem
- Curating workshops, seminars and webinars on legal literacy tailored to the unique challenges of individuals with invisible disabilities and their caregivers
- Strategic research to strengthen broader access to justice efforts with key stakeholders across legal and social service sectors

In his speech, Mr Dinesh Dhillon, Chairman of Pro Bono SG stressed the importance of this centre, “In our work at Pro Bono SG, we have learnt that a significant barrier is the ability to access and navigate the (legal) system...This is particularly true for individuals with disabilities, who may face additional challenges in understanding and engaging with legal processes...for caregivers already managing daily responsibilities, legal paperwork and procedures can add stress at critical moments.”

A huge thank you to the Rao Family Foundation for their support and partnership in this meaningful initiative. We look forward to doing our part in addressing the justice gap for persons with invisible disabilities.

Pro Bono SG is proud to announce the renewal of the 10-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Community Law Centre @ Tian De Temple, signed between PBSG, Tian De Temple and R.S. Solomon Foundation Limited. We were honoured to have Senior Minister of State for Transport and Law, Mr Murali Pillai, SC, attend our lunch engagement and witness the signing on 9 March 2026.

On the 10-year commitment, Mr Murali Pillai, SC, stated in his speech, “It recognises that access to justice is not a short-term initiative, but an ongoing responsibility. When legal assistance is embedded in trusted community spaces, people seek help earlier. Problems are addressed before they escalate. The law becomes a shield, not a barrier.”

The afternoon also included an enlightening sharing session on the genesis of the community law centres and the partnerships that brought them to life, featuring speakers: Mr Raymond Wang, Chairman of Tian De Temple; Mr Eddie Tay, Founder of Realm of Tranquility; as well as Mr Richard Siaw, 2022/23 Pro Bono Ambassador and Managing Director of R.S. Solomon LLC, who spearheaded the community-based legal assistance initiative.

This MOU reaffirms our commitment to bringing legal assistance closer to communities facing mobility, digital, or social barriers in Singapore. We look forward to the next decade of meaningful partnership.
