You might say Jason Ho is a high-flying volunteer — his work goes above all our heads! 🚁
Jason was part of the team that piloted the Singapore Red Cross' drone workgroup, developing an intensive training programme for drone pilots to be deployed for , surveillance, and recovery. This work took him to Timor-Leste in March, where he and a team equipped their counterparts from Cruz Vermelha de Timor-Leste with drone operation skills.
He has also volunteered as a first aider for more than a decade, and re-initiated the Volunteer Drivers Workgroup, where he now heads the Train-the-Trainer and Train-the-Volunteer Driver Programmes for volunteers to supplement the Red Cross' drivers' capacity on weekends.
As a Volunteer Leader, he not only integrates his passions and skills to better serve the community, but encourages and empowers others to do the same as well.
