Destination of Hope and Agency for Women
We facilitate livelihood opportunities for economically challenged women, and support them in achieving financial independence and social mobility for their families. Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) is an IPC charity empowering economically challenged women into sustained employment, this enabling their families towards social mobility. DOT's beneficiaries a

re women aged 20 to 60 from low-income families (surviving on $200 to less than $650 per capita per month), most of whom reside in government-subsidised rental flats. Since its incorporation in August 2014, DOT has positively impacted more than 1000 women through their skills-training, job-bridging and support programmes.

A few highlights from our recent Mother’s Day Luncheon 💐

From meaningful conversations to shared insights, the luncheon brought together partners, supporters, and advocates committed to creating pathways for women to thrive in an evolving workforce.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the discussion. Your support helps empower women to achieve economic resilience and build brighter futures for their families.

Last Saturday at DOT’s Mother’s Day Luncheon, we came together with a shared belief: every woman deserves the opportunity to move towards hope, confidence and a brighter future. ❤️

We were deeply honoured to have Minister Josephine Teo join us, alongside our generous donors and partners — especially our title sponsor, Singapore Pools — for an important conversation about preparing women and mothers for the jobs of tomorrow.

One highlight of the afternoon was our fireside chat featuring Minister Teo, Adeline Tay (Micron Technology) and Koo Sengmeng (AI Singapore), moderated by our Board Chair Von Leong. Together, they explored what it will take to ensure women are not left behind in an AI-enabled economy, and why access to support, skills and confidence matters more than ever.

We also shared a first look at Canvas of Change, an evolving photographic exhibition by volunteer photographer Anna Shatilova. Through powerful portraits and stories, the exhibition captures the journeys of women supported by the community around them — and the ripple effect that opportunity, belief and long-term care can have across families and generations.

As our CEO Eunice Shen reminded us in closing: people are the priority. Whether as an employer partner, funder or volunteer, there is a place for everyone in DOT’s ecosystem.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, contributed so generously to the conversation, and continues to believe that no woman should ever be written off.

Earlier today, we celebrated the official launch of the Great Eastern Women’s Run as they mark an incredible 20-year milestone of championing women’s health and community spirit! 🏃‍♀️✨

We are deeply honored to be one of Great Eastern’s two beneficiaries, alongside the Singapore Cancer Society ().

Every dollar raised goes towards helping our women from low-income and at-risk backgrounds build financial stability and reclaim agency.

For DOT, Great Eastern is so much more than a donor—they are a dedicated, holistic partner. From funding to volunteering at our programmes, Great Eastern continuously steps up to help us enable livelihoods for the women we support. We are immensely grateful for this enduring and continued partnership!

Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) is pleased to welcome Max Ang as our Head of Finance.

Max is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in finance business partnering and FP&A, having worked with leading organisations such as HP, Visa and Grab. Throughout his career, he has focused on enabling leadership teams to make better decisions through enhanced financial visibility, structured planning and practical, actionable insights.

For Max, joining DOT was a purposeful move. A chance to bring rigorous financial thinking to a mission he believes in: empowering women with hope and the agency to make independent choices.

At DOT, he will focus on strengthening funding visibility, supporting outcomes prioritisation, and building financial structures that are simple, effective and built to scale.

Outside of work, Max is an endurance athlete — multiple half marathons and a full marathon to his name — and has lived in Australia and Hong Kong, experiences that have shaped both his adaptability and his worldview.

Last night’s WIFO (Women in Family Office) event, held in support of Daughters Of Tomorrow, reminded us of a powerful truth: investing in women changes generations. ✨

The evening was filled with inspiring stories—DOT President, Von Leong encouraged us to take action in reducing inequality, Founder of SMOL, Charmaine Low showed why inclusive hiring benefits everyone, and our DOT client, Zarina shared her journey of growth and resilience.

It was also a special milestone as we welcomed our new Executive Director, Eunice Shen, who joined us for her very first official event and helped moderate the panel, giving the group a chance to get to know her in this new role. 🩷

The connections sparked last night remind us that now, more than ever, we cannot stop supporting women. Every woman we support strengthens her family and community—the ripple effect lasts for generations.

Thank you to WIFO ( Women in Family Office) for creating this opportunity to create awareness and start continuing dialogue on how the community can come together to support lower income women. And, to Como Orchard for your warm hospitality. Together, we are building a brighter, inclusive future. ⭐💪

At Daughters of Tomorrow (DOT), we believe that preparing women for the future of work means equipping them not just with skills for today—but for what comes next.

Yesterday , we were honored to kicked off the AI for Good (Community) Train-the-Trainers with Micron Technology’s global Board Directors, AI Singapore and United Women , where our President, Von, shared why AI literacy is no longer optional for the women we serve—it is essential.

This partnership goes beyond funding—it reflects a shared commitment to inclusive, future-ready workforce development.

By April 2026, 25 trained volunteers will help co-design a contextualised AI curriculum for our community , with the goal of reaching 100 DOT women by 2027. Our focus is clear: to build confidence, increase self-efficacy, and expand access to better career opportunities for our women in an AI-driven economy.

“When we invest in women, we do not just change individual lives, but strengthen families , communities, and ultimately, our economy. And, together with partners like Micron technology Singapore, we are ensuring that no woman is left behind in the future of work.”

We are thrilled to welcome Eunice Shen as our new Executive Director, effective 1 April 2026.

Eunice brings 20 years of leadership experience across SPH Media, Sephora, Lazada, Samsung, Nokia and Singtel — with a track record of driving growth, leading transformation, and building cultures where people do their best work.

Her move to DOT is a deliberate one. As a mother, she is energised by DOT's mission of becoming a destination of hope and agency for women — and excited to help shape that vision into reality.

We can't wait to see what this next chapter holds. Welcome, Eunice!
