The ripple effects of running Alpha can go far — relationships restored, faith deepened, and the culture of different communities quietly transformed.

We're committed to keeping Alpha free and accessible for every church or ministry that wants to run it.

If this moves you, we'd love to partner with you in whatever way you can. See a list of options in the comments, or reach out to us at [email protected] for alternative ways to contribute.

He had been a Christian for years. He showed up faithfully, carried his struggles quietly, and left unnoticed - until one question at Alpha changed everything.

A pastor placed a hand on his shoulder and asked, "How can I pray for you?" He wept for ten minutes. Not because the question was extraordinary, but because in all his years of showing up, no one had ever thought to ask it.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop and truly see the person in front of us.

We pray for strength, for guidance, for comfort in seasons that feel heavier than we expected. And then we wait. For a sign. For a feeling. For something unmistakable that tells us God heard us.
But what if He already answered - and we have been looking past it?

The friend who checked in on a day we told no one about. The colleague who stayed behind to ask how we were really doing. The person who said the exact thing we needed to hear without knowing we needed to hear it. These were not coincidences. These were God moving through the people He already placed around us.

Scripture is full of this. God provided for Elijah through ravens, and then through a widow. He answered Moses' exhaustion through Jethro's counsel. He did not send a miracle. He sent a person.

Sometimes God's provision does not look the way we imagined. Sometimes it has a name, a face, and a phone number we have not called in a while.

The answer to our prayer might already be sitting across from us. We just have to be willing to receive it.

Some of us carry words we never got to say. Not because we chose silence, but because life moved faster than we expected, and the person we needed to speak to was gone before we had the chance.

For almost two decades, Eloisa carried that weight. Until Alpha became the place where God met her in the silence, spoke into the guilt she could not put down, and gave her something she never thought she would feel again — freedom.

Forgiveness is not weakness. It is freedom. And it is never too late for healing to begin.❤

Many people carry pain quietly.

Loneliness, disappointment, and failure can feel overwhelming, especially when life does not go as planned. Yet healing often begins when we find the courage to be honest and open. Grace does not ignore brokenness. It meets us in it. And in time, hope returns, hearts are restored, and we begin to see that we were never walking alone.

Introducing our third Alpha Workplace Conference speaker: Peter Tan!

Peter is a four-decade veteran educator who served as a principal for 24 years across several prominent Singapore schools — a career defined by deep dedication to his calling.

He has also authored his memoir: "Not By Sight", chronicling his unwavering journey of faith within the education sector.

One of his most profound stories? Spearheading a night tuition initiative with local churches — and that's just one of many stories and insights he'll be sharing at the conference on 4 July.

We'd love to see you there.

There are seasons where we are so worn down that even the things meant to restore us start to feel like effort. Prayer becomes one more thing on a list we are already failing to keep up with - and the guilt of not showing up before God just adds another layer to the exhaustion we are trying to bring to Him in the first place.

So we sit down, close our eyes, and nothing comes. Not the right words. Not the right feeling. Just the quiet, heavy awareness of how little we have left to give - to anyone, including God.

And then the voice creeps in: if we really loved Him, we'd find the energy. If our faith was real, this wouldn't be so hard. We start to wonder if something is broken in us, or if we've drifted further from God than we thought.

But the Psalms tell a different story. They are full of people who arrived before God with nothing prepared and nothing polished - just the raw, unfiltered weight of where they were. David didn't come with eloquence. He came with tears, with anger, with silence. And God didn't turn away. He drew closer.

If all we can bring tonight is "I've got nothing left" - that is enough.

Alpha Partners’ Dinner 2026 is happening again – and this year, we’re Thriving on New Ground. 🌱

As we move forward in faith, we believe God is inviting us to plant, grow, and steward new opportunities together.

📅 12 March 2026
⏰ 7.00pm
📍 The Fullerton Hotel Singapore

Over the past year, we’ve witnessed powerful stories through Alpha:

✨A church building an authentic Chinese Alpha community

✨A journey of physical healing that opened the door to spiritual renewal

✨A couple stepping into a calling to host safe spaces for conversations about life, faith, and meaning

These stories are made possible through the generous giving of churches, partners, and friends who believe in honest conversations and real encounters with Jesus.

And you can be part of God’s story through Alpha too.

Whether by purchasing a table, or giving a gift, you can be part of what God is doing as we thrive on new ground together.
