🇸🇬🌿 Bukit Purmei Journey to the East 2 — Celebrating 61 Years of Singapore! 🚌❤️

What a day of adventure, makan and laughter! 😆

As part of our Bukit Purmei National Day celebrations, one bus load of residents headed to Pulau Ubin — exploring Chek Jawa Wetlands and the mangrove boardwalk, before sitting down together for a hearty 8-dish seafood feast at Season Live Seafood 🦐🦀🐟.

We also had a special reason to celebrate — one of our residents marked their birthday on the actual day, complete with cake and plenty of birthday cheer! 🎂🥳

Then came the unexpected twist… our bus broke down! 🚌💥
But did that stop the fun? Absolutely not! 😂

Everyone took it in stride, looked out for one another and kept the smiles and laughter going. And perhaps that was the best part of the day — seeing the Bukit Purmei kampong spirit shine through naturally, especially when things didn’t quite go according to plan. ❤️

As Singapore celebrates 61 years of nation building, moments like these remind us that the Singapore story is also built on neighbours coming together, caring for one another, sharing experiences and making memories as a community. 🇸🇬

From Pulau Ubin to Bukit Purmei, we journeyed together — and came home with more than just tired feet. We brought back another chapter of our community story. 🌿✨
