Have unspent CDC Vouchers (2026) January or SG60 Vouchers you won't spend?

You can now support our work by donating your unspent vouchers easily through KampungSpirit, a government-backed platform developed by that helps everyday donors support items and services that households need.

Your donations help to support running costs and offset our educational programme equipments and consumables such as trash bags, gloves and tongs for litter picking.

Follow these simple steps to get started:

Meet Roy, an avid volunteer and kayaker in Waterways Watch Society! What started as a jog past the Waterways Watch Society office turned into a new chapter of purpose, fitness, and environmental action.

From kayak volunteer patrols to facilitating CSR events, Roy stays active while protecting Singapore’s waterways. Since retiring as a doctor, he’s earned his 2-star kayaking certification and is training for his 3-star - proving that it’s never too late to learn, grow, and make a difference.

Over the past year, WWS has partnered with 63 schools and 292 corporate organisations, engaging more than 15,216 students and 9,578 adults and seniors through our VIA and CSR programmes. Today, at our Annual General Meeting, we reflected not just on these milestones — but also on the challenges that lie ahead.

While student engagement rose by 2% and corporate participation by 14%, the volume of litter collected has also increased — by 13% in schools and an alarming 34% in corporate clean-ups.

This reveals a sobering reality: despite more people stepping forward, public awareness and social behaviour towards littering remain a stubborn challenge in Singapore.

At WWS, we believe the way forward lies in deepening education, strengthening partnerships, and inspiring collective responsibility. The work continues, and with your support, we can make lasting change.

In honour of Singapore’s 60th anniversary this year, Waterways Watch Society is launching a fundraising drive in support of free VIA (Values-in-Action) programmes for families, retirees, youths, and passionate individuals — anyone who wants to take action for our waters!

WWS believes that education is the most effective strategy to achieve “elimination” in the Hierarchy of Controls. Only with a good understanding of the importance of conserving our waterways, and the dire impacts which may follow if we don’t, one will concientiously make the change in daily habits towards actions which are more sustainable.

It’s the time of the year again! Waterways Watch Society held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at our Kallang Headquarters on 29 September 2024. It is great to see everyone gather at one place to celebrate the good year together.

For the past financial year which ended in March 2024, WWS ran a total of 387 programmes with various schools and corporates. This is on top of the 2755 voluntary environmental patrols conducted by our fellow environmental champions.

remains a core part of our mission and we encourage more individuals and corporates to join us in this cause.

We look forward to more partnerships in the coming year!
