💚 Community, connection & breastfeeding support in action!
From answering questions to sharing knowledge and connecting with parents, our BMSG volunteer breastfeeding counsellors were out in full force at Mummy’s Market, 2–4 October! 🌿
Our booth brought together counsellors from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared passion: supporting families on their breastfeeding journeys. 💕
Every conversation is an opportunity to listen without judgement, offer evidence-informed guidance, address concerns and remind parents that they don't have to navigate breastfeeding alone.
✨ Who are BMSG's breastfeeding counsellors?
They are trained volunteers who bring breastfeeding knowledge, lived experiences and a deep commitment to mother-to-mother support. Through community outreach, they help make breastfeeding support more accessible, approachable and inclusive for families.
As a charity dedicated to breastfeeding support, BMSG believes that strong communities help mothers thrive. Our counsellors are at the heart of this mission — showing up, connecting with families and championing breastfeeding, one conversation at a time.
