🧡 🌾42,3000kg of rice was donated to 35 charity welfare organisation🌾🧡
We are deeply honoured and excited to have welcomed many distinguished guests who took time out of their busy schedules to attend Rice Donation Day 2026. Their presence brought an even greater sense of significance and warmth, making the ceremony even more meaningful and memorable.

In celebration of Grandmaster’s 82nd Birthday this year, we specially invited a lion dance troupe to offer birthday blessings to Grand Master and to welcome our distinguished guests. At 11:15 a.m., amid the rhythmic beats of the lion dance drums, everyone warmly welcomed the our venerables, dharma instructors, and our guest of honour, Ms Nadia, with enthusiastic applause as they entered the venue.
In addition to the rice donation, we organised a charity lunch comprising of 26 tables. We were honoured to host 160 seniors, 100 distinguished guests, as well as representatives from our associate temples and 35 other charitable organisations, who joined us in celebrating Grandmaster’s 82nd Birthday.
The rice donation ceremony commenced with the celebration of Grand Master’s 82nd Birthday, marked by the presentation of a 7kg birthday cake. In addition, the first course of the charity lunch was a specially prepared longevity bun for everyone, symbolising our heartfelt birthday wishes for Grandmaster. We also prepared 160 red packets, which were distributed to the seniors by the Venerables and distinguished guests.
As part of this year’s celebrations, a donation cheque of S$10,000 was presented in Grandmaster’s honour to a representative of the Singapore Red Cross. This contribution was made in support of the Singapore Red Cross’s ongoing humanitarian relief and post-disaster recovery efforts in Gaza.
