What does inclusion look like when everyone is given the chance to scale their own mountain? 🏔️
Having faced learning challenges herself, Xueting is creating pathways for individuals with autism and special needs to build skills, confidence and meaningful careers. 🌱

As a President’s Challenge Civic Action Fellow, she is working to develop better tools and systems to prepare individuals for the real world, so more can grow in confidence and find their place.

Inclusion goes beyond access, it’s about enabling others to rise.

If you are ready to create change that uplifts others, this is your moment. ✨

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate mothers who keep going, even through life’s toughest moments. ❤️

After a serious fall left Mdm Norliza unable to work, she faced mounting medical bills while caring for her family. Through the support of BLESS Mums, she found encouragement, community and the strength to move forward, one step at a time.

Her story is a reminder that many mothers quietly carry so much for the people they love. 💐

This Mother’s Day, let’s show appreciation not just in words, but by continuing to uplift and support mothers in our community.

💛 Earlier today, President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Ms Jane Ittogi visited REACH Community Services Ltd. and met the people behind the work, from dedicated social workers to the children whose journeys remind us of what truly matters.

As part of REACH’s ‘Project GEMinate’ initiative, children aged 6 to 12 facing challenges such as family instability, neglect or trauma will be supported through sports and play. Through the programme, they will build confidence, resilience, and social skills, taking small but meaningful steps that can shape the course of their lives through early support.🌱

This reflects our continued focus on going beyond short-term support towards sustained uplift. 🌟

This year, 62 programmes will receive funding of up to 5 years, enabling deeper impact across areas like early intervention, mental health, second chances and inclusive opportunities.

We are also working with partners across sectors, including in arts, sports and culture, to open up more opportunities for people to discover their strengths, build confidence and take their place in a more inclusive and connected society. 💪

🫶🏻 Together, we can uplift aspirations and enable every individual to realise their potential:

For Sarah Gopal, volunteering is more than an act. It’s a commitment to show up for others with heart, consistency, and purpose 💙

Over the years, she had not only supported riders at RDA Singapore Official but also brought her students along, giving them the chance to learn empathy, patience, and the value of giving back.

This World Volunteering Week, we celebrate volunteers like Sarah who uplift those around them, and inspire others to do the same.
A little time can go a long way.

When we uplift one another, we grow stronger together. ✨

Your support can help more individuals experience growth, confidence and connection: https://www.presidentschallenge.gov.sg/who-we-support/our-stories/sarah-gopal/
