Operation Orion A community service project spearheaded by the NUS Civil Engineering Club since 2000.

We co-design and engineer the structures we build at host countries on top of our service-learning exchanges. Operation Orion is a unique, student-initiated community service project spearheaded by the NUS Civil Engineering Club. Since it's inception in 2000, Operation Orion has since been to various places in the region, completing projects such as irrigation systems, footpaths and staircases. Interaction with the local communities is also an integral part of the project, as we endeavour to show our care more than physically. It was the conviction that we can benefit others through the creative application of our engineering skills that set Operation Orion on this journey. And the conviction lives on.

12 years of giving beyond boundaries, and beyond.
