YMCA Plain English Speaking Awards (PESA)

YMCA Plain English Speaking Awards (PESA) Plain English Speaking is the ability to convey a convincing message to the audience with sincerity, clarity and in appropriate language.

YMCA PESA is an annual National speech contest organised by YMCA of Singapore, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Speak Good English Movement. Effective speakers will have their own personal voice and style.

Teachers of the winners, please work with the winners to submit the winners' thoughts (about 80 words) by 27 August, 5pm. These will be included in the souvenir booklet for the Awards Ceremony.
