We had a meaningful two days of learning and fellowship at the Club Leaders Learning Session for District 3310 in Johor Bahru. It was encouraging to see the strong turnout from our club, the largest we have had for this annual event.

Thank you to the friends of RC Sentosa’s Rotarians who donated so many Lego sets and toys for the preschoolers and children in Siem Reap. These toys have been distributed to the beneficiaries.

💦World Water Day is commemorated around the world annually on 22 March as a reminder of the importance of clean water. 💦

Here in Singapore, we dedicate the month of March to celebrate the significance that water holds in our nation’s survival, security and success.

When Singapore gained independence 60 years ago, our water situation was marked with many uncertainties. We depended heavily on imported water from Malaysia, and our local water infrastructure was constrained because of our limited land spaces.

Our existential need for water motivated us to find innovative solutions to diversify our water supply – and we developed NEWater.

Even though we do not have to worry everyday about whether we will have enough water, we must never forget how precious water is, and do our part to use water wisely and prudently in our daily living. Every drop matters, every effort counts, and every Singaporean plays a role in securing our water future.

Rotary Service Day – Serving with Purpose

On 7 March 2026, Rotary Service Day, the Rotary Club of Sentosa continued our collaboration with the Foundation of Rotary Clubs Singapore, Family Service Centre (Clementi).

Following our meaningful Chinese New Year outreach, we organised another community initiative in celebration of the upcoming Hari Raya Puasa.

A total of 14 essential food items—from rice and dates to sardines—were sponsored by 13 Rotarians (3 from other clubs and 10 from our own). These care packages were prepared for 39 families in need, ensuring they could celebrate the festive season with greater comfort and dignity.

We were honoured that DG Shahul joined 15 of our members at the centre as we gathered to distribute the bags of goodies. It was especially heartwarming to see our children participating as well, contributing their toys to share with the children from these families.

Beyond the distribution of food and essentials, initiatives like these reflect Rotary’s deeper commitment to building Sustainable Systems, Empowered People, and Enduring Value in the communities we serve.

Thank you to every Rotarian who contributed their time, generosity, and spirit to make this meaningful day possible.

🥰💕We had a meaningful and engaging February dinner meeting as a club. Our guest speaker, Aimee Sarah George, shared her six years of humanitarian work in Afghanistan, serving vulnerable communities including refugees and victims of trafficking. Her courage and steadfast commitment to service above self deeply moved us.

😍Beyond the inspiring talk, the evening was filled with warmth and fellowship. We celebrated our February birthday members, enjoyed a traditional Chinese New Year louhei, had fun with Kahoot games, and lingered in good conversation after dinner.

A purposeful gathering, strengthened by friendship and a shared heart to serve. 💕🫶🏻

We were delighted to have visiting Rotarian, Jana Heilmaier from the Rotary Club of Unter den Linden, Berlin (Europe) join us for our dinner meeting.
It was a pleasure sharing fellowship across borders and strengthening the spirit of Rotary friendship.
It reminded us that every Rotarian can find a home, even when far from home. We are truly blessed to be part of a Rotary community that brings like-minded people together, united by a shared heart to do good.❤️💕
