A great day of learning and discovery at the Foundational Unmanned Aircraft Badge Programme 2026! 🚁

From understanding unmanned aircraft safety to hands-on flying, our participants had an exciting and meaningful time learning about unmanned aircraft safety, regulations, and gaining hands-on flying experience. Thank you to everyone and our partner CAAS who contributed to making this programme a meaningful and memorable one!

We have officially launched 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School (West) (CPASS West) in Jurong West, and were honoured to have Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment of Singapore, join us as our Guest-of-Honour.

Our Scouts had the meaningful opportunity to interact with the students from CPASS West, support the teachers during lessons, and contribute through various housekeeping tasks such as cleaning the facilities and upcycling book resources used by the school. The experience was both enriching and eye-opening for our Scouts, reminding them of the importance of inclusivity, empathy, and giving back to the community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to CPASS West for being our Venue Sponsor and for warmly hosting this year’s Job Week launch!

From 22 May to 4 July, our Scouts will be out in the community, taking on various jobs and serving those around them. Let’s continue to show them our support and encouragement as they embark on this meaningful journey of learning and service.

⚓🌊 Building the next generation of Sea Scout Leaders!

18 Sea Scout Leaders (SSLs) recently completed the refreshed Sea Scout Leader Course (SSLC), organised by the Sea Scout Roundtable as part of the renewed development pathway for SSLs. Conducted over 2 phases — Discovery and Foundation — across 3 sessions, the course equipped new leaders with the fundamentals of Sea Scouting and practical experiences to prepare them for leading their Sea Scout Ships.

From seamanship and nautical skills to water sports, marine environmental stewardship and maritime career discovery, our leaders got hands-on exposure both on land and out at sea! 🌟⛵

Participants also put their seamanship knowledge into practice during a sea sortie, experienced sailing firsthand, and explored the importance of protecting our marine environment.

A huge shoutout and thank you to our valued partners, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), for partnering us in this training and sharing valuable insights on maritime career opportunities for our youths. Your support helps inspire and broaden horizons for the next generation of maritime leaders! 🚢⚓
