Not every experience of racism is loud.

Sometimes it’s the comment you laughed off.
The question you’ve answered a hundred times.
The joke you pretended didn’t bother you.

These moments can shape how safe, accepted, and understood we feel—even if they’re difficult to put into words.

Next on Chit Chat Chai, we’re creating a space to explore racial trauma and microaggressions within the South Asian community in Singapore. Whether you’ve experienced them personally, witnessed them, or simply want to better understand, you’re welcome to join the conversation.

Parnella Rayappan is an Ayurveda Therapist and Educator. She started her journey into Ayurveda at Union Yoga Ayurveda in 2017.

She was hooked after attending her first class because Ayurveda offered answers to questions she’d been having since she was a child.

Ayurveda has provided the first blueprint to systematically and intelligently help someone in a wholesome and holistic manner in order for them to live a long and fulfilling life.

In fact, we know many Ayurvedic practices by heart because we’ve seen them being used in our kitchens and celebrated in festivals.

This is the aspect of Ayurveda that keeps Parnella inspired and motivated to share about Ayurveda & Yoga on her IG platform Surya Nila Wellness 💗

Who better to get you started on your Ayurvedic self care journey! Sign up to join her session on 25 July 😍
