Featuring a curated selection of DSA merchandise designed by our beneficiaries, the showcase celebrates their creativity, personal expression and the stories behind each piece. More than a display, this showcase is an opportunity to raise awareness and foster greater understanding of the Down syndrome community.

A big thank you to the students from Temasek Polytechnic School of Design for collaborating with us on both displays, from shaping the creative direction to helping set up the wall. We are also grateful to NLB Singapore for the opportunity to share our mission and advocate for greater inclusion through this showcase. 💛📖

✨ Celebrating our incredible volunteers! 👏🏼

Earlier this year, we gathered for a meaningful session of connection, creativity, and appreciation, featuring a Macramé workshop led by Maussy Studio and our self-advocate, Brandon.

It was an opportunity for volunteers to reconnect, reflect on the many programmes and activities they have supported, and celebrate the positive impact they continue to make within the DSA community.

To all our volunteers — thank you for your time, dedication, and unwavering support. Your contributions play an invaluable role in many ways! 💙💛

As we prepare for more exciting programmes and events, we welcome passionate volunteers to join our community. If you’re interested in making a difference, visit the link in our bio to learn more and connect with us.

Thank you for celebrating World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) 2026 with us. 🎉✨

This year’s theme, “Our DSA HEART – A Lifetime of Love,” reflects the spirit that continues to guide our work. HEART represents the core values that anchor our community — shaping the way we support persons with Down syndrome and their families through care, dedication and shared commitment. It was heartening to see so many come by to be part of the celebrations.

From the Community Walk, performances, booths and activities throughout the day, thank you to everyone who showed their support — whether you visited our booths, purchased our merchandise, made a donation, or simply spent the day with us.

One of the highlights of the day was our Singaporebookofrecords attempt for the Largest Number of Persons Wearing Mismatched Socks. It was an exciting moment as our community came together for the attempt, and we are proud to share that 231 people joined in wearing their mismatched socks, making it a truly memorable and record-setting moment in support of inclusion.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our Guest-of-Honour, SPS Eric Chua for once again joining us at our World Down Syndrome Day celebrations and for taking the time to tour the carnival and connect with our beneficiaries and partners at the event. His continued support is greatly appreciated by our community.

We were also glad to have Mayor Denise Phua Lay Peng join us at the celebrations and spend time visiting the booths and performances throughout the day.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes out to our donors, sponsors and partners whose generosity made this year’s celebrations possible.

If you would still like to show your support, you may make a donation (tax deductible) or purchase our specially designed merchandise by our talented DSA artists. 💙💛
