Collegiate Symposium

Collegiate Symposium Collegiate Symposium is organised by MENDAKI Club, or MClub.

MClub Collegiate Symposium is a biennial student conference designed to instill in tertiary students a sense of purpose and ownership over their polytechnic and university education. Through sharing sessions by notable speakers on the main panel and the parallel break-out sessions, the symposium aims to inspire students to excel and make the most out of their tertiary collegiate years through an e

xploration, realisation and maximisation of their own individual potential and the opportunities available for them. By engaging in thoughtful and inspiring discussions among speakers and fellow participants, it is hoped that students are able to find the guidance and knowledge to take on their collegiate journey and aid in their pursuit of excellence. MClub is a community of Malay/Muslim young professionals and students who are engaged in affairs concerning the community, Singapore and the world. We engage in strategic youth development initiatives and participate actively in discussions on current developments in the local and global arena. We also strive to build bridges within the Malay/Muslim community, and between our community and other communities, to promote mutual understanding and cooperation. MClub was launched in 2000 by then-DPM Lee Hsien Loong and constantly seeks new and interested individuals to be part of its growing community. As a registered society affiliated to the Malay/Muslim Self-Help Group Yayasan MENDAKI, the activities and programmes of MClub are largely organised and run by volunteers from a wide range of professions and backgrounds.
