The Very First RVI “Yearly Youth Programme” 2022!
In 2022, the very first RVI Yearly Youth Programme brought together young people ready to step outside their comfort zones, explore new possibilities and learn from different experiences.
Through workshops, mentorship and meaningful connections, participants began a journey of self-discovery, exploration and growth.
Today, we look back at the experiences of our three featured participants.
Ho Yue Yi, Zahra Alsagoff and Yong Ying Jing, and how their RVI journey shaped what came next.
For Zahra Alsagoff, RVI was more than a programme, it became a journey that continued beyond her first experience.
From exploring and learning new skills to returning two years later as a facilitator and mentor, RVI gave her opportunities to learn, connect and eventually support other youths.

For Yong Ying Jing, RVI was an opportunity to step into new experiences, meet students from different walks of life and explore opportunities beyond what he already knew.
One of his most memorable experiences was working with Flo Jagua and learning under Ms Christel.

For Ho Yue Yi, the RVI Youth Programme was an opportunity to meet new people, experience something different and learn from youths with different strengths and experiences.
Her biggest takeaway? There is no one right way to grow.

From the very first RVI Yearly Youth Programme in 2022 to where they are today, each participant took away something different. New connections, new experiences and a new perspective.
Their stories remind us that growth can begin with simply being willing to step out, explore and connect.
This is only the beginning. The RVI journey continues.
