Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan honoured 16 outstanding teachers with the 15th LEAP Award! A big thank you to Guest-of-Honour Minister for Education Mr Desmond Lee for taking time off his busy schedule to present the LEAP Award to the 16 recipients!
Mr Thomas Chua, President of SHHK, said, “Education is ultimately about people. The 16 teachers who received the LEAP Award fully demonstrated a sense of conviction and genuine care for the students under their charge. Besides imparting knowledge, they also paid close attention to their students' holistic wellbeing. This nurturing warmth from a teacher is something that artificial intelligence cannot replace, and will become an increasingly important factor in schools of the future.”
