It’s a wrap. ❤️
Impulse by National Contemporary Ballet has officially come to an end.
What an incredible journey it has been. Premiering at the Esplanade on 26 June 2026, we presented six performances over the weekend, and I am truly grateful for the overwhelming love and encouragement from our audiences.
My heartfelt thanks to Esplanade for commissioning this new work, and to Faith, Izumi and Iris for believing in my artistic vision and for your unwavering support of local artists.
To my amazing production team—Shining Goh and Clement Cheong—thank you for bringing this production to life.
To my wonderful dancers—Pia, Shawna, Cherie, Ivan, Supatchai (TikTok), Toy, Eakkie, Jedai—and my Assistant Choreographer Edina, thank you for your trust, dedication and artistry. Impulse would not have been possible without all of you.
A special thank you to all the photographers who generously gave their time to capture these beautiful moments. Your images will preserve these memories forever.
Finally, to everyone who came to watch—whether you made a special trip, came back to watch again, or simply stopped by while passing through—thank you. Your support, applause and encouragement meant the world to us. I hope Impulse touched your hearts as much as it touched ours.
