Hello! I’m Mr. Hyzue, Advisor of CSC!

What motivated me to step up through CSC is seeing how much small acts of kindness can positively impact someone’s day. A school event where we packed lunches for the low-income really opened my eyes, showing me that I could make a difference, even in little ways. 🌟

Fun facts about me:
🍵 Favourite character: Uncle Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender — wise, kind, and always sees the good in people, plus his love of tea is unmatched (I prefer tea too! 🤗)

Hello! I’m Nerissa, Year 3 in Chemical Engineering!

What motivated me to step up through CSC was the idea of deepening my commitment to volunteerism and being part of a community that graciously gives back to society in many ways. Volunteering has always been a powerful way to connect with people from all walks of life, and I believe that all acts of service, no matter how small, can create ripples of change. Through brainstorming ideas and executing events, I hope that the supportive and collaborative spirit of CSC will not only lift others up but also help us grow united together as a family! 🤍

Hello! I’m Clarissa, Year 2 in Early Childhood Development and Education!

What motivated me to step up through CSC and become a main committee member was my desire to grow personally and develop leadership skills, while also making a meaningful impact on the community. I’ve always believed in the importance of giving back, and taking on this role allows me to contribute in a more hands-on and intentional way. I wanted to be more involved in planning and leading initiatives that serve different groups in need, and to play a part in creating positive, lasting change through our projects. ✨

Hello! I’m Hannah, Year 2 in Marketing!

What motivated me to step up through CSC was the people and the purpose the club serves. During Year 1, the people I met in CSC were so welcoming — they made me feel like I truly belonged. I’ve always believed in helping others, and volunteering gave me a meaningful way to do that. CSC also gave me some of my best memories in TP, from induction camps to volunteering events. That’s why I wanted to give back — by creating those same experiences for others and making a difference together. 💫
