☕🧇 AYA Thursday Coffee Club — Session #2: Waffle Day!

Yesterday, our AYA youths gathered once again at Café @ Solace for another afternoon of good food, drinks and even better company! 💛

For this session, we brought out the waffle makers for Waffle Day, where our youths got to make and customise their own waffles — from freshly made pandan waffles to choosing their favourite spreads and toppings. 🧇✨ Between making drinks, experimenting with waffles and simply hanging out together, the café quickly became a space filled with conversations, laughter and plenty of eating!

At its heart, AYA Thursday Coffee Club is about keeping things simple: a casual space for our youths to drop by, grab a drink, have something to eat and spend time with others who understand the journey — no agenda, no pressure, just conversations and connection. ☕💬

RIDE TO SPREAD CANCER AWARENESS! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Ain Society is proud to support Cycle for a Cause 2.0 bringing communities together to ride, connect and raise awareness on the importance of cancer screening.

With 20 teams, 100 cyclists and 32 mosques every pedal brings us one step closer to healthier, more aware communities.

Bringing Flowers into Serenity* 🌸✨

On 23rd July, our Serenity Centre was filled with warmth and meaningful conversations at our closed female support group. We invited our ladies to choose a flower that resonated with them and share the unique stories behind their choices 🪷. The ladies explored how they relate to their chosen flowers, reflecting on their personal paths through life and healing 🌤️.

🍁 From vulnerability to quiet resilience, listening to each other’s diverse experiences created a powerful space of comfort and understanding. Thank you to these incredible women for sharing your hearts and brightening our centre with your presence ✨.

Yesterday, we visited one of our beloved Founders, Haji Berori Bin Salleh, who is currently very unwell. It was a quiet and meaningful visit, and we are grateful that we could spend some time by his side.

We ask our friends and community to please keep him in your du’as. May Allah SWT ease his pain, keep him comfortable and surround him with His mercy.

May all the good that he has done, and the lives he has touched through the work he helped to begin, continue to be a source of pahala jariyah for him.

We also pray that Allah grants strength and sabr to his family and loved ones during this time.

🇸🇬🧁 National Day: Kids Cupcake Decoration 🧁🇸🇬

Our YHCC kids gathered together as we count down the days to Singapore’s birthday! 🎉 With cupcakes ready and their creative minds at work, our young heroes were given the freedom to decorate their very own cupcakes, letting their imagination run wild with colours, toppings, and fun designs. ✨

From colourful swirls to adorable creations, every cupcake was uniquely decorated and reflected each child’s creativity and personality. It was a sweet way to celebrate our nation’s special occasion while creating meaningful memories together. And of course, the best part was getting to enjoy their delicious creations afterwards! 😋🧁

Here’s to celebrating Singapore with creativity, laughter, and lots of sweetness! Happy Birthday, Singapore! 🇸🇬❤️

🩵 Ain Society @ Masjid Khalid Family Day

A meaningful collaborative effort by Masjid Khalid together with community cancer partners which are Ain Society, 365Cancer Prevention Society, and Singapore Cancer Society, bringing the community together through conversations on cancer awareness and the importance of early screening. Our Ambassador, Hady Mirza too came to the mosque to share his experience as a caregiver for a family with cancer.

We were also honoured to witness the presence and support of Guest-of-Honour Mdm Halimah Yacob, Mr Zaqy Mohamad, and Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi among other distinguished guests, whose support continues to inspire stronger community partnerships for better health and well-being.

✨Together, we can build a healthier, more informed and caring community, and we look forward to a stronger collaboration in the coming future.

Lights, camera...concentration! 🎭

On 6th Aug, our members stepped into the spotlight for "Aku Pon Boleh Lah!", a therapeutic drama session led by Sani Hussin. Through mirror and focus-building exercises, they discovered new ways to loosen up, express themselves, and let every movement tell a story 🎬

More than just a title, "Aku Pon Boleh Lah!" is an affirmation of strength and self-belief. The use of "Aku" reflects the confidence to own one's voice and say: "I can do it too." It reminds us that everyone has the ability to explore, express themselves, and step into the spotlight with courage 💪

🌿​On 18 July, our members gathered at the center for an essential psychoeducation session on palliative care, led by an experienced palliative nurse.

The session focused on helping our community understand the full spectrum of care available—highlighting how physical and emotional support work hand-in-hand to improve the cancer journey 🩵.
​We loved seeing our members actively engage, ask questions, and learn how palliative care can be a vital layer of support at any stage.

Thank you to the nurses for making the time to guide, educate, and comfort our community ☘️. We hope the session gave our members some comfort and better understanding of their care 🌈.
