On 27 September 2026, participants of ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐š๐ข๐ง๐“๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ (๐‘๐“๐) and their families came together at ๐“๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐ณ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐€๐ซ๐œ๐š๐๐ž, ๐Ž๐ซ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐—๐œ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž for our third Family Day event.

Funded by Yellow Ribbon Cares, RTP recognises the important role families play in the rehabilitation and reintegration journey. Through team-based ๐Ÿ€ basketball and ๐ŸŽฏ Skee-Ball challenges, families enjoyed an afternoon of fun, friendly competition and meaningful bonding.

The excitement of prizes ๐ŸŽ, shared laughter ๐Ÿ˜Š and quality time together created lasting memories and strengthened family connections. Thank you to all participants and their loved ones for making the Family Day such a memorable occasion.

๐Ÿค Earlier this year, ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Œ๐ž! ๐Œ๐ž๐ง'๐ฌ ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ sat down with DadsforLife.sg, Grace Orchard School and SHINE Children & Youth Services for a Focus Group Discussion on strengthening father-centric support in our community.

๐Ÿ’ฌ We shared best practices, talked through what makes it hard for fathers to reach out for support, and explored ways to help them in their parenting role. We also looked at fathers' parenting styles and levels of parental self-awareness.

๐Ÿ“ But the work didn't end there. Our team took in all the data and discussion points from the session and collated them, alongside other groundwork behind the scenes.

๐Ÿ”„ Once that was done, we met with our partners again for a post-engagement session.

๐Ÿ™ Thank you to our partners for their time and insights. Together, these sessions helped FRCS FSC shape future programmes and services for fathers.

On 22 August 2026, 40 families in our community received food ration and household necessities packs in celebration of National Day ๐Ÿš โ€” generously sponsored by Rotary Club of Sentosa Singapore ๐Ÿ™Œโฃ

Marking their ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง with us this year ๐Ÿค, the Rotarians packed and personally delivered the ration pack themselves, making sure every family received their share. Each pack was carefully put together with daily necessities ๐Ÿ›’ โ€” helping to ease household expenses and bring a little extra comfort into their homes ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’›โฃ

More than 40 participants of ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐š๐ข๐ง๐“๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ (๐‘๐“๐), together with their family members and volunteer mentors, came together for our second Family Day event, themed "๐Œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ž ๐’๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ", at Golden Village. โค๏ธ

At RTP, we recognise the important role that family plays in an individual's reintegration journey. Through our strength-based approach, we seek to strengthen family relationships, foster emotional well-being and build meaningful support networks that empower participants to move forward with confidence. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

Family Day is one of the key milestones in the 12-month RTP journey, providing an opportunity for participants, families and mentors to connect, celebrate progress and create lasting memories together.

The afternoon was filled with laughter, bonding and celebration as families enjoyed Minions & Monsters while recognising the milestones achieved throughout their reintegration journey. ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽฅ

๐Ÿค Strengthening Parenting Support Together!

On 13 July 2026, our Early Childhood and Parenting team, together with the Research and Capability Development team, hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which fostered learning amongst the agencies especially on their experiences in running parenting programs and services, as well as in the agencies use of technology-based interventions during their engagements with parents. The FGD also hopes to identify existing service gaps for the practice research to continue exploration of emerging needs and opportunities to better support parent.

On 9 July 2026, our team presented FRCS FSC's practice research on homelessness at the 7th International Conference on Practice Research (ICPR7) at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Senior Social Worker Mr Muhammad Sofian Moojimmy and Assistant Senior Social Worker Ms Lim Shi Yan shared findings from the Homelessness Pilot (HOP), a collaborative initiative with Safe-Sound Sleeping Place(S3P) Assyakirin that supports individuals experiencing accommodation instability through an integrated, person-centred approach.

The pilot's findings offer valuable insights for strengthening social work interventions and enhancing support for individuals facing homelessness concerns.

This milestone also marks the culmination of our homelessness practice research journey that began in 2021, reflecting FRCS FSC's commitment to practice-based research and continuous service improvement. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š
