Raikan Ilmu 2026 @ Heartlands – What a Weekend!

BapaHebat SG was honoured to be part of Raikan Ilmu 2026 @ Our Tampines Hub this morning.

Our booth was buzzing with activity throughout the day as families, fathers, mothers and children stopped by to learn more about the work of BapaHebat SG and the importance of fatherhood in building stronger families and communities.

One of the highlights was our Father's Day Card Activity, where children lovingly created personalised cards and messages for their fathers in celebration of Father's Day on 21 June 2026. It was heartwarming to see the excitement, creativity and affection expressed through their drawings, colours and heartfelt words.

Beyond the card-making activity, we also had the opportunity to:
✅ Share about BapaHebat SG's programmes and initiatives
✅ Engage fathers and families in meaningful conversations about fatherhood
✅ Introduce our upcoming activities and community programmes
✅ Conduct simple father-child engagement games that brought smiles, laughter and connection

Most importantly, we connected with many members of the community who share our belief that every child deserves an involved, engaged and caring father.

A big thank you to our volunteers who generously gave their time and energy, and to everyone who visited our booth, participated in the activities and supported our mission.

We look forward to seeing many of you again tomorrow as Raikan Ilmu continues!

As part of Raikan Ilmu 2026, BapaHebatSG will be conducting a special Teh Tarik with Dads & Mums session, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible.

This session is open to both fathers and mothers, as well as caregivers who play an important role in supporting our children's growth and development.

Parenting does not come with a manual. Through this interactive session, we will explore simple, practical and relatable ways parents can support their children at different stages of life, while learning from one another's experiences.

🌿 The action is underway at Family Amazing Race 2026!

Families are out in full force this morning at the beautiful Japanese Garden, taking on challenges, solving clues, exploring together, and most importantly, creating precious memories as a family.

It is wonderful to see parents and children laughing, encouraging one another, and working together as a team. Beyond the fun and excitement, events like these remind us that strong families are built through shared experiences, quality time, and meaningful connections.

A heartfelt thank you to all participating families, volunteers, organisers, and community partners who made this morning possible.

Here's to more conversations, more laughter, and more moments that bring families closer together.

Every Transformation Begins with a PIVOT.

This morning, three of our BapaHebat SG volunteers — Zainudin, Farid, and Ariff — took an important step in their volunteer journey by attending the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) PiVoT (Prison Volunteer Training) at the Lifelong Learning Institute.

While PiVoT may stand for Prison Volunteer Training, for us it also represents something much deeper — a pivot towards service, purpose, and impact.

Before a volunteer can step into a prison to support incarcerated fathers, there are requirements to fulfil, training to complete, and clearances to obtain. It means setting aside personal commitments, sacrificing a Saturday morning, and investing time and effort into preparing themselves to serve others.

Many people see the workshops, fathering programmes, and interactions that take place inside the prisons. What they do not always see are the dedicated volunteers who quietly prepare themselves behind the scenes so that these programmes can happen.

By attending PiVoT today, Zainudin, Farid, and Ariff have moved one step closer to obtaining their prison passes and joining our team in supporting fathers who are seeking to rebuild relationships, strengthen family bonds, and prepare for a better future.

Their commitment reminds us that meaningful change rarely begins with grand gestures. Often, it begins with ordinary people making an extraordinary decision to serve.

To Zainuddin, Farid, and Arif — thank you for making this pivot. Thank you for your willingness to invest your time, energy, and heart into supporting fathers and families through BapaHebat SG.

Because every father's journey can change.
And sometimes, all it takes is a pivot.

May this Hari Raya Haji remind us of the spirit of sacrifice, sincerity, compassion, and the importance of family. May our homes be filled with barakah, love, forgiveness, and strengthened relationships between fathers, mothers, and children.

🔥 Growth as a husband and father does not happen by accident. It begins with the willingness to reflect, learn, and become better.

Today, BapaHebat SG is honoured to be attending Tarbiyah Bukan Terbiar (TBT): A Good Husband Series – Becoming the Man You Were Meant to Be at Masjid Al-Falah.

The session by Sufian Hanafi brings together important conversations on marriage, leadership, emotional presence, and the role of men in building stronger families and communities.

As an organisation working closely with fathers and families, we deeply value safe spaces like these where men can pause, reflect, and grow together.

May today’s learning benefit all the brothers attending and strengthen the homes we lead, insyaAllah 🤍
