🕊️ Honouring a Life of Quiet Generosity

In Loving Memory of Mdm Lee Na Na

The SMA–Mdm Lee Na Na Medical Students’ Assistance Fund Bursary is a joint named bursary by Dr Ong Eng Kang’s family and SMA Charity Fund (SMACF), established in memory of Mdm Lee Na Na, who faced hardship in her own student days.

Through this initiative, Dr Ong and his family hope to ease the financial burdens of aspiring doctors—so they can focus on their studies and flourish in their journey ahead.

To future doctors, Dr Ong shares this advice:
“Cultivate even more passion and higher purpose during your lifelong journey in being a doctor.”

💛 Mdm Lee’s legacy now lives on—not only in memory, but in every student empowered to become a healer.

Join us in honouring Mdm Lee’s memory and the meaningful impact her family has made through their support.

🌟 Leaving a Legacy of Care
Meet Dr Michael Toh — a dedicated physician whose generosity continues to shape lives, long after his own journey ended.

Dr Toh knew hardship firsthand. When he lost his father in his first year of medical school, he was only able to continue studying thanks to the generosity of a family friend — a kindness he never forgot. Throughout his life, he reminded his family of the importance of paying it forward.

Today, his legacy lives on through the SMA–Dr Michael Toh Kok Kuan Medical Students’ Assistance Fund Bursary, a joint-named bursary between his estate and the SMA Charity Fund. Since 2017, this bursary has supported medical students facing financial challenges, helping them stay the course. 🎓💙

Dr Toh served with distinction as a radiologist, educator, and mentor — even teaching residents in his final days. His passion for learning, healing, and giving continues to inspire.

Join us in celebrating Dr Toh’s life and legacy.
