What an energizing evening on 14 August! Pasir Ris East C2E volunteers, Pasir Ris Zone 4 RN, and dedicated SCDF personnel joined forces for a Fire Blitz around Blk 480 and Zone 4!

We went door-to-door sharing vital fire safety tipsโ€”especially reminding everyone to never leave cooking unattended! ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿšซ

Huge thanks to our amazing SCDF officers and energetic volunteers. Together, we keep our community safe and ready!

Empowering our community, one lifesaving skill at a time! ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

On 19 July, participants gathered at Masjid Al-Istighfar for an interactive Responders Plus Programme (RPP), organized in collaboration with Pasir Ris East C2E volunteers and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) 2nd Division.

It was a vibrant, hands-on day where attendees picked up critical emergency response skills, including:

CPR & AED handling

Infant CPR & choking relief

Improvised first aid & bandaging

Fire extinguisher practice

Heartwarming Highlight: A huge shoutout to our hardworking estate cleaners who joined the session! Beyond keeping our neighborhood clean, they are now equipped as emergency responders for our community. We were especially impressed to see that a few of them were already natural pros at bandaging! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

Thank you to all the trainers, Mosque volunteers, C2E volunteers and participants who came together to make our neighbourhood safer and more resilient.

A meaningful and laughter-filled day at Masjid Al-Istighfar as participants joined the ๐‘๐๐ (๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž)๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” together with Pasir Ris East C2E volunteers, Singapore Civil Defence Force 2nd Division. From improvised first aid, CPR AED, infant CPR, choking response to hands-on fire extinguisher practice, participants learnt valuable lifesaving skills in an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere. Special thanks to the chief trainer for the insightful and humorous sharing that kept everyone attentive throughout the session!

In collaboration with Pasir Ris East C2E and joined by Adviser Sharael Taha, our dedicated volunteers ran engaging game booths and food stations for residents.

More importantly, everyone walked away better prepared, learning practical steps to stay safe and ready during a water disruption. A meaningful and fun-filled community effort!

What a meaningful and eye-opening session! Participants shared that the content was clear, practical, and easy to apply, especially through the hands-on role play sessions that brought real-life situations to light.

A big shoutout to our dedicated trainer and the amazing facilitators for guiding everyone with empathy and insight. The demonstrations made even the toughest conversations easier to understand.
