Vegan Athlete and Chair of World Vegan Organisation (Singapore)

The philosophy of mind-body connection underscores the influence of our thoughts and intentions on physical health and mind health embodies the harmony between ethics and action, as well as the mental clarity afforded by a clean diet. The principle of Ahimsa (non-harm) is thus extended to oneself, highlighting the link between compassionate eating and inner peace. Plant-based eating honors the body , cultivating mindfulness and illustrating the corporeal manifestation of mental values.

✨ 题目 Topic: Nurturing a Generation that Does Good for Animals, the Environment, and the Communities We Serve

💚 主讲嘉宾 Speaker: Ms Tham Wen Yun
Founder of The Good Earth School and the Animal Partners

With a background in community engagement and animal welfare, Tham Wen Yun founded The Good Earth School and the Animal Partners to make education on animal care, environmental stewardship, and community responsibility more accessible and meaningful.

Through her work, she designs and conducts programmes that combine experiential learning, inquiry-based learning, animal-assisted activities, and therapeutic horticulture to support both education and wellbeing. These approaches help participants not only learn about animals and the environment, but also build meaningful relationships with animals through guided interaction, reflection, and shared experiences.

During the talk, Wen Yun will share how these engagement mechanisms are used to move participants beyond traditional classroom learning, from learning about animals, to learning with them, learning through therapeutic and experiential activities, and ultimately understanding how they can contribute meaningfully to animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and the communities around them.
