From 3rd to 5th June 2026, SECA representatives was at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) for 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝘁𝗲𝗰 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Southeast Asia’s flagship event for ESG and energy transition.

A massive thank you to 𝗧𝗘𝗘𝗔𝗠 (𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮) for being such wonderful hosts!

During the 3-day event, our team exchanged valuable insights on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is advancing green energy solutions. We also caught up with our fellow regional association members from 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 (𝗛𝗞𝗘𝗖𝗔), 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗦), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗖𝗔), further strengthening our cross-border contacts.

SECA recently gathered at the Jubilee Garden Restaurant Ballroom (SAFRA Toa Payoh) on 22nd May 2026 to celebrate 50 years of unity, progress, and resilience in the electrical trade sector.

The evening commenced with an inspiring opening address by SECA President 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗵𝗮𝗸, followed by a comprehensive review of the association’s past year achievements led by Secretary General 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗞𝘄𝗮𝘆.

On 9th April 2026, 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗔 was honoured to host a high-level fact-finding delegation from the 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿 and the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The delegation shared their inspiring vision for the 𝗚𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘂 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗚𝗠𝗖) —a Special Administrative Region designed to be a global hub for economic growth, technological innovation, and sustainable job creation for Bhutanese youth.

In the spirit of knowledge-sharing, SECA presented our 50-year journey as a pillar for Singapore’s electrical industry. Key topics discussed included:
