Applications are now open for the Sector Train-and-Place Programme by SG Enable's Enabling Academy. This programme is designed to support persons with disabilities in preparing for meaningful employment through structured training and employment support. Applications are open from 1 June to 30 June 2026.

📌 Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Explore selected job roles through learning journeys and employer sharing sessions
• Receive structured training to build workplace readiness and job-specific skills
• Gain hands-on learning experience in real or simulated work settings
• Access employment support, interview preparation and job matching opportunities

📌 Who can apply?
Singapore Citizens or PRs with a verified permanent disability who are not currently enrolled as full-time students and are keen to explore employment opportunities. Supported disability groups include autism, intellectual disability, physical disability, deaf or hard of hearing, and visual impairment.

We are pleased to share that the Happee Hearts Movement has recently launched the Inclusive Preventive Health Pilot Programme for adults with intellectual disabilities (ID). This programme aims to promote preventive healthcare and healthier lifestyles among persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (PwIDDs).

📌What participants can look forward to:
✔ Health screening and check-up
✔ Personalised health plan
✔ Healthy eating workshops
✔ Fun and engaging exercise sessions

This programme is specially designed to support PwIDDs in learning healthy habits in a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.

Thursday Seniors’ Wellness Session – Pioneer Zone 8 RN

Every Thursday, our seniors come together for a meaningful time of connection, movement, and mutual support.

Seniors guide and support one another through light exercises and simple group activities, creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone can stay active, engaged, and connected.

It’s a time to stay active, keep the body moving, and most importantly - we enjoy laughter and companionship in a safe and welcoming space.

We have now started the school holidays, and we’re happy to kick off this break with a fun workshop at Pioneer Zone 8 RN!

Thank you everyone for joining us at the DIY Fridge Magnet Making Workshop today.

We hope all the children had a great time getting creative and designing their very own fridge magnets. It was wonderful to see so many happy faces and beautiful creations. Some children even brought their own photos, and it was especially heartwarming to see family pictures and their favourite memories being used in their designs.

We also hope everyone enjoyed the workshop, the McDonald’s treats, and the goodie bags prepared for all participants.

A big thank you to all residents, volunteers, and supporters who made this event a success. Your participation, enthusiasm, and support are truly appreciated

We look forward to seeing you again at our future community activities.
