To protect the public from the worsening impact of haze, the Government’s Haze Task Force has implemented stepped up measures. To protect yourself at home, follow these steps:
✅Close windows and doors when outdoor air quality worsens
✅Reduce indoor pollutant sources – avoid smoking, burning candles, or incense indoors
✅Use air-conditioners or fans for circulation
✅Use wet-cleaning methods (mopping, wiping) to remove settled dust without stirring it up
✅Consider a portable air purifier with a HEPA filter for added protection

Pioneer Zone 8 Collaboration with RSVP Singapore The Organisation of Senior Volunteers & Pioneer Active Ageing Committee (AAC)

Every two weeks on Thursday afternoons from 2pm - 4pm, Pioneer Zone 8 RN Centre is happy to welcome RSVP seniors volunteers to spend meaningful time with our senior residents, together with the Pioneer Active Ageing Committee (AAC).

From simple exercises to fun art activities, our seniors get to stay active, learn, create and most importantly, enjoy wonderful moments together.

Together, we keep our seniors active, connected and engaged!

Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration at Pioneer Z8RN

A wonderful afternoon celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with our senior residents through fun DIY lantern-making and enjoy the yummy mooncake 🥮 at Pioneer Zone 8 RN centre!

It was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying quality time together, sharing laughter, creativity, and festive joy.
A big thanks you to our amazing volunteers Nancy Sim for your time, dedication, and support and to our neighbourhood kakis for always coming together to make these community moments special.

Together, we light up our Pioneer community with love and togetherness!

We had our monthly meeting with Town Council on Thursday night, where we shared our concerns and discussed issues raised by our residents. By working closely together with Town Council, we can better support our community and residents.

After that, we had a sharing and briefing on Healthier SG, Functional Screening, and Community Health Post. These are some of the ways we can reach out through house visits, engage our residents, and share useful health information with them. We listen out for residents who may need help, share one simple health message, and point them towards the right services to sign up.

A big thank you to one of our members for bringing and sponsoring a beautiful birthday cake! We also took the opportunity to celebrate together with all our September birthday members.

And a special treat too, some delicious biscuits from Canada, kindly brought back by one of our members after their travels. It was lovely to share and enjoy them together!

It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, sharing and bonding. Beyond being a team, we are a family.

Thank you everyone for always making our meetings more meaningful and enjoyable. Together, we can make healthy choices easier and more accessible for every resident.
