Can't believe it's been over a week since our Inter-Racial and Inter-Religious Harmony Nite (IRIRHN) 2026.

As we observe Racial Harmony Day today, we are reminded that this harmony is something precious we choose to cherish and uphold every day, not just once a year.

As shared by our Chairman of Thye Hua Kwan (THK) Moral Society at IRIRHN, "harmony did not happen by chance. It was built patiently through trust, strengthened through understanding, and sustained by countless acts of respect and shared responsibility." This holds true in the work of our hospital as we care for our patients with respect and dignity, regardless of ethnicity and relig​​ion. We too, are thankful for the multi-cultural make up of our staff who in diversity, share the common goal of care for our patients.

At the core of the THK family, we continue this through our network of services and to champion the 𝗖.𝗔.𝗥.𝗘 framework, where 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 build and sustain 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, where meaningful 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 keeps our seniors and the vulnerable socially active. C.A.R.E aims to bring people together through cultural and arts engagement, and to strengthen connectedness in the community.

Let's continue building a Singapore that is more caring and connected, one everyday act at a time.

From June 9th to 11th, we were absolutely delighted to welcome seniors from THK AAC (Taman Jurong, Bukit Batok, and Boon Lay) to THK Temple!

It was a joy filling our space with their laughter, stories, and vibrant energy. Creating these meaningful community connections and peaceful moments is at the heart of what we do.
