The Singapore Logistics Association (SLA), in collaboration with Supply Chain Asia Community Ltd (SCA), successfully concluded the Harnessing Generative AI: Practical Impact on Work workshop on 6 July 2026.

The workshop brought together professionals from across the supply chain ecosystem and wider business community, with participants representing various industry associations. The session highlighted how Generative AI is transforming how organisations work and showcased practical approaches to adopting AI in the workplace.

Attendees explored real-world applications of Generative AI and gained actionable insights into leveraging AI to enhance productivity, support better decision-making, automate routine tasks, and improve workplace efficiency.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Paul Lim, Founder and President of SCA, for sharing his expertise and practical insights. We also thank all participants for their presence and SCA for partnering with us to deliver this impactful learning experience.

As AI continues to reshape the future of work, SLA aims to continue equipping businesses with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to embrace digital transformation and drive innovation across the logistics sector and beyond.

The Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) Council & Secretariat Team recently had the opportunity to visit F&N Foods Pte Ltd on 3 July 2026 for an industry visit.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into F&N Foods’ capabilities across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations. It was meaningful to learn how the organisation continues to strengthen its logistics processes and drive operational efficiency in support of its extensive business operations.

A special thank you to Mr Benjamin Mathews, Director, Supply Chain of F&N Foods and Council Member of SLA, for hosting us and for sharing insights into F&N Foods’ operations, business processes, and the work behind the scenes that keeps the supply chain running smoothly. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and open sharing throughout the visit.

The Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) joined the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremony 2026 (Zone 4) on 1 July 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Organised by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, the ceremony brought together industry and community partners to reaffirm support for our National Servicemen and the important role they play in safeguarding Singapore.

SLA was represented by our Chairman, Mr Dave Ng, together with the Council and Secretariat representatives. Mr Ng also received a Token of Appreciation on behalf of SLA from the Officiating Minister, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Minister for Social and Family Development.

We are pleased to stand alongside fellow organisations in recognising the dedication and contributions of our servicemen.

𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 & 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜

As the logistics industry faces rising operational costs and increasing complexity, digital transformation is becoming critical for businesses to remain competitive. In partnership with CuberAI Technologies Pte Ltd and supported by Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA), the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) brought together industry leaders and professionals on 25 June 2026 to explore how Agentic AI is transforming freight operations and driving greater operational efficiency.

Through practical use cases and live demonstrations, participants learned how AI can automate workflows, reduce revenue leakage, improve decision-making and strengthen operational efficiency. The session also highlighted the importance of collaboration among government agencies, technology providers, industry associations and businesses in accelerating digital adoption across the logistics sector.

Honour Lane Shipping Ltd shared its AI adoption journey and practical lessons from integrating technology into day-to-day operations. The discussion also focused on workforce transformation and the need for businesses to equip employees with the skills required for emerging AI-enabled roles.

The session concluded with practical steps that businesses, particularly SMEs, can take to begin their AI transformation journey and tap available national initiatives to strengthen their digital capabilities.

The Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) team, led by Mr Ken Ngan, Chairman of the Multimodal Transport Committee, attended the AFFA Mid-Term Conference and Meeting in Batam, hosted by the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association on 25 and 26 June 2026.

The event brought together representatives from AFFA member associations and the freight forwarding community across ASEAN to discuss the future of regional logistics.

Discussions focused on regional connectivity, cross-border movement, multimodal transport integration, digitalisation, professional development, supply chain resilience and green logistics. The meeting reinforced the importance of closer cooperation among ASEAN associations in strengthening the region’s logistics network and supporting a more connected and resilient supply chain.

And the momentum continues in Singapore! To round off the year, SLA will host the AFFA Singapore Summit from 17 to 19 November 2026.

Bringing together logistics leaders, industry partners and member associations from across ASEAN and beyond, the three-day gathering will feature the Transport & Logistics Summit, AFFA meetings, networking opportunities and industry learning journeys. It will also coincide with Breakbulk Asia, taking place from 18 to 19 November 2026, where SLA will lead the Singapore Pavilion.

We look forward to welcoming the AFFA community and beyond to Singapore.
