We are thrilled to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) and Jeonju Vision University!

This landmark agreement marks a major milestone for our Taekwondo community. Built on a foundation of warm friendship, mutual respect, and a shared passion for the martial art, this collaboration opens up incredible new doors for our athletes, coaches, and officials.

What this means for the future:
- Knowledge Sharing: Exchanging expertise in sports science, coaching methodologies, and technical development.
- Cultural Exchange: Strengthening the deep bonds of friendship between Singapore and Republic of Korea through the spirit of Taekwondo.

A massive thank you to the leadership teams at both STF and Jeonju Vision University for making this vision a reality.
Together, we are kicking off an exciting new chapter and taking Singapore Taekwondo to greater heights! 🚀🔥

​Our Kyorugi athletes are stepping onto the mats and ready to trade kicks with the absolute best at the 27th Asian Taekwondo Championships, happening at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia! 🔥

From 21 - 24 May 2026, the intensity will be extremely high, but the focus is locked, and ​🇸🇬 Team Singapore Kyorugi Fighters are ready to leave everything in the ring.

The stage is set, the mats are ready, and Team Singapore 🇸🇬 is officially in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the 9th Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships! 🥋🔥

From 19 - 20 May 2026, our Singapore athletes will be going head-to-head with the best in Asia, showcasing months of grueling training, precision, and pure passion.

The results are in! World Taekwondo has released the 2026 MNA Governance and Performance Review, where Member National Associations (MNAs) from all over the world are evaluated across five key areas: Governance, Participation, Performance, Events, Sustainability.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Singapore is ranked 17th globally! 🌍✨

This milestone is a huge win for our community. It reflects the trust in us, our growth in participation and our dedication to transparent, world-class governance. 📈

To every administrator, committee member, coach, seniors, volunteer, referee, athletes, all of you, this is YOUR achievement.

STF extends its warmest congratulations to Grandmaster Mr. Philip Choo on receiving his Kukkiwon 9th Dan Certificate.

Achieving a Taekwondo 9th Dan is a monumental milestone, recognising a lifetime of dedication, technical mastery, and significant contributions to the global Taekwondo community.

As an esteemed STF examiner, Grandmaster Mr. Philip has upheld the highest standards of the martial art in Singapore. His journey inspires practitioners, embodying the values of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.

We salute Grandmaster Mr. Philip for this remarkable achievement and thank him for his leadership and service.
